Character Information*

When Ella was five years old she promised her mother that she would always remain kind no matter what. It was then her mother passed away leaving her and her father behind. The next year her father remarried, and she gained a stepmother and two stepsisters. All seemed well she treated her with kindness, but Ella always noticed that that kindness never reached her new mother’s eyes.

When Ella was 16 the nightmare began, her father died in a car accident and her stepmother began to abuse her. Making her sleep little hours and physically harm her. At one point she ended in the hospital with broken ribs after being pushed of the stairs. Life certainly wasn’t easy back then.

When Ella was 19 she met a man named Edmund she felt rather fond off and they fell in love. He was her first in everything, first love, first kiss, first time. And she loved everything about him. She still does. then he passed away in a war, and ella found out she is pregnant

Ella dated patrick for a short while, but eventually started dating Sally Finkelstein, she and her daughter Dandelion Fontaine get along well, however she is unaware that Edmund is still alive.

Rachel could sense Ella's apprehension - her shoulders looked tense, her hands were shaking and there was a tiny furrow in her brow that threatened to give her away, despite clearly trying to smile through it.

Why she was so nervous, though, Rachel couldn't say. She chalked most of it up to nerves at having to dance in front of a crowd of people. Never could she have guessed the true depth of feeling that something as simple and freeing as dancing could cause.

Rachel, of course, had lived a very different life from Ella. Trapped in a house under the iron thumb of a woman pretending to be her mother, unable to leave, or grow, or experience life to its fullest. She hadn't a soul to talk to for many, many years. It would drive anyone to complete madness. It was nothing short of a miracle that Rachel had such a sunny, hopeful disposition by the end of it. Divine intervention (Flynn Rider) and a drive for freedom was the only reason that she was standing here holding Ella's hands now.

But they weren't so different. It was all just perspective.

Now Rachel could dance freely and make friends, so why would she not revel in it? Why would she not bring her friend along on the journey? It didn't matter if people were watching, or judging.

Rachel (keeping in mind that Ella's dress was heavy and swooshy and had quite the large circumference) pulled Ella further into the dance floor so they had space. The music had picked up pace, perfect for spinning and skipping about. She had learned a thing or two about dancing with a partner from Toulouse, and so decided to take the lead on this one, moving in such a way that Ella wouldn't really have to think much about it.

"Your dress is perfect for spinning!" she shouted over the thumping drum beat. "Did you make it?"

Ella laughed softly at the compliment Rachel gave her, a warm blush coloring her cheeks. The dress she wore was a deep shade of emerald green, with layers of delicate fabric that floated around her like a cloud, perfect for spinning around. She had chosen it with that exact purpose in mind, envisioning herself twirling under the grand chandeliers of this grand ballroom. The gown had caught the light with every movement and she had felt, for a fleeting moment, like a princess in a fairytale.

but now, as she stood in the corner of the room, her thoughts drifted to Sally, her date for the evening. This was supposed to be their first official outing as a couple, a night that Ella had been looking forward to for weeks. But as the evening progressed, she found herself scanning the room for Sally, hoping to catch a glimpse of her familiar face. Yet, they hadn’t crossed paths, not even once. The distance between them, both physical and emotional, gnawed at her heart.

A quiet fear began to creep into Ella’s mind, whispering doubts that she had tried so hard to push away. What if sally had second thoughts about them? What if someone else had captured her heart? The questions spiraled in her mind, leaving her feeling more alone in the crowded ballroom than she ever thought possible.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ella’s insecurities about her own appearance had been plaguing her all night. Despite the compliments and the undeniable beauty of her gow, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she wasn’t pretty enough. That she didn’t belong. Her self-esteem had been at its lowest for some time now, and tonight was no exception. She felt like an imposter in the elegant dressn as though it were a costume disguising the person she feared she was truly underneath- someone not worthy of love, or even of being noticed.

the weight of these thoughts pressed heavily on her, dimming the joy she hoped to feel by dancing with Rachel. The music, the laughter and the sparkle of the evening all seemed distant, mted by the noise of her doubts and fears. She wanted to be happy, to enjoy the night as she had imagined, but her mind wouldn’t let her. Instead as soon as the song was over, she froze, lost in the swirling emotions, hoping that somehow, by some miracle, sally would appear and everything would be okay again.

“I’m sorry Rachel.” She said with a soft breathe. “I wanna go home.”

Holding out their hand for Dandelion to take, Ollie quickly tugged them over to the little flower patch. Glancing back over their shoulder, Ollie's brow furrowed. "Ella? Are you okay?" They asked before plopping themselves back down into the grass. "You know what, My Little Lion, we should make the most beautiful flower crown for your Mommy. What do you think?" They questioned, looking to the little girl as if they were planning a grand escapde.

Ollie couldn't imagine what it was like to be a parent. Sure they would love to be one some day. But sometimes they had their hands full with just being a bunny parent. Getting Dandelion started on picking the flowers, Ollie went back over to Ella. "Hey, is everything okay?" They asked gently kneeling down before their friend.

Ella nodded, though the familiar weight of her emotions made it clear she couldn’t hide the truth from Ollie. “I don’t know,” she finally confessed, her voice carrying a quiet sadness that echoed the turmoil within. As she watched her daughter delicately gather the flowers, her eyes lingered on the child’s innocent joy, a stark contrast to the storm brewing inside her. The sight brought a fleeting smile to her lips, but it quickly faded as she turned her attention back to Ollie, knowing she had to speak the words that had been festering in her heart.

“I’ve been struggling,” she began, her voice soft but laden with the heavy burden she had carried for so long. “These past five years… they’ve been unbearable. First, there was Edmund’s death—losing him shattered something inside me. Then came the breakup with Patrick. I thought I could find solace in him, but it only deepened the wounds. And then there’s Lady Tremaine…” Her voice trailed off, the mere mention of the woman’s name sending a shiver down her spine. “The abuse I endured from her… it’s something I can never forget, no matter how hard I try.”

Ella’s frustration surfaced as she bit her lip, a futile attempt to contain the overwhelming emotions threatening to spill over. “I feel like I’m drowning, Ollie. Drowning in my own thoughts, in the judgments of others…” She stopped, the next admission teetering on the edge of her lips, fear and guilt intertwining as she prepared to voice what she had kept buried for so long. “Especially my stepsisters. I suppose they hate me now—for putting their mother in jail. But what else could I have done? It was the right thing to do, wasn’t it?” Her voice wavered, a mix of doubt and self-reproach evident as she finally gave voice to the truth that had haunted her for so long.

It was the first time she had spoken openly about the court case, and the weight of that confession left her feeling exposed, and vulnerable. Yet, in that moment, there was also a flicker of relief—a small, tentative step toward healing, though she knew the road ahead was still fraught with pain.

"You're, like, way too nice," Rachel replied, shaking her head. She was quickly distracted by the amazing cookies Ella placed on the table. They smelled incredible, and looked to still be a little bit warm and gooey, just the way she liked them.

"I couldn't have a garden party and not invite you! My dad bought way too much food for any of us to ear too, so please help yourself."

"I may be nice, but people deserve kindness," Ella said, her voice carrying a warmth that contrasted with the sadness in her eyes. Ella hesitated, her breath catching in her throat. She knew Rachel had good intentions, always looking out for her, always trying to pull her out of her shell, but her heart felt heavy with doubt. The thought alone sent a shiver down her spine, and the weight of it all felt almost unbearable. ella's parents meant the world to her. It is no lie that she doesn't feel much family bond with the step-side of the family. It's getting better between her and Deziree but it is a work in progress. It was a warm summer night, but it was quite comfortable at Sally's living room, air conditioner blasting cool air, sitting by Ella with a bowl of ice cream for each of them. It was movie night, and so they were watching one of Ella's favorites, The Princess Diaries. Sally had never seen it before, and it definitely wasn't something she would usually pick; but she found herself laughing at the funny hijinks, and smiled when Ella laughed, too.

As Ella savored every moment spent with Sally, she found herself completely captivated by their shared love for chocolate ice cream and their favorite movies. Each precious moment alone with Sally sparked an even deeper admiration for her. Being a true romantic at heart, Ella treasured these fleeting moments of togetherness.

After all, they were more than just companions – they were a couple deeply in love.

"Thank you for inviting me." Ella said out of the blue, as her eyes were glued at the screen, her favorite scene was coming up in which anna hathaway did that little leg lifting that she adored so much. It was during the kiss scene, and it made her realize she and Sally hadn't shared such a moment yet.

Even though she wasn't particularly anxious, she pondered whether she would have to take the first step if that moment arose, or if Sally would be courageous enough to make the move and kiss her. Nevertheless, she expressed her fondness by placing her hand on Sally's and giving it a comforting squeeze. "I really enjoy being with you like this," she confessed.

Putting a hand to their chest, feigning hurt Ollie started to laugh. "Oh I am so sorry my Little Lion." Ollie reached out to poke them in the arm. "How about to make it up for being naughty, do you want to make flower crowns with me?" Popping up from the bench they had been sitting on, they pointed to a patch of grass that was littered with the little girls namesake. "Come on, no better place to be than warm in the sun with friends."

Ella's heart swelled with delight as she observed her daughter's eyes sparkle and a radiant smile illuminate her face in response to Ollie's invitation to create flower crowns with Dandelion. "Yes!" Dandelion eagerly exclaimed, her adorable grin lighting up the room as she eagerly took her place in front of Ollie.

Surrounded by cherished friends and her beloved daughter, Ella felt a profound tranquility wash over her. However, amidst the joy, a pang of sorrow gripped her heart as she realized just how long it had been since she last savored such simple but precious moments.

Could make the clouds move into whatever shapes you want. To always have a nice breeze blowing against your skin." Sticking their tongue out at Dandelion, Ollie looked up at Ella. "I mean water powers would be amazing too."

"Yeah!" Ella said, just happy to have someone to conversate with. Staying in a mansion all by your lonesome sometimes had its perks and disadvantages, especially now Dandelion was going to school, though now with it being the weekend she could enjoy her daughter just as much. "We could combine our powers, make it rain, and help the little flowers bloom." Ella mused.

"Flowahs?" Dandelion asked. "Yes, flowers, rain makes it easier for flowers to bloom."

"Dandelion likes flowahs." Dandelion chuckled. "Ollie naughty ollie sticking out tongue."
