Gobta the Absolute Goat! And dang Rimuru is a real one! Honestly surprised how many characters got screentime. Some story gets lost in the sauce but a good fun watch. I’m rooting for you Gobta!!!

#wouldn't be surprised if this was just literally the only type of wallet available in Tempest lol #most of the town is paid through the points system‚ which is basically a paper with holes in it‚ like restaurant loyalty punch cards #so they really don't need wallets. any they made to sell to tourists and new townsfolk would naturally be Rimuru branded #just like everything else!

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime episode 80

I liked seeing Glenda gradually become less tense and desperate as the episode went on. She was also speaking much more casually by the time discussions concluded. Rimuru is such a safe presence once you know that he doesn't intend to harm you and is able to overcome most threats targeting you. Understandably potentially terrifying if you don't know what he's like yet. I suspect that watching Hinata so openly trusting him also added to Glenda settling in. I think that she will do well in Souei's team.

#I do really love how Tempest welcomes people with open arms. a wonderful theme for the series tbh!

So in the latest episodes, they've finally mentioned the points system, which is how Tempest pays its workers. I first saw the explanation in Trinity in Tempest:

I do wonder what the exchange rate is for points to coins, and whether higher ranked jobs offer more points. Like, are the oni earning more than the orcs? It seems likely, since Rimuru is pretty big on establishing hierarchy (especially in the light novels).

Anyways, I wonder how many points the citizens make per day and how much that translates to purchasing power...

Housing is generally provided in Tempest, with barracks for singles and houses for families, so at least they don't have to pay rent.

But do the low level workers just have enough for meals? Can they have savings? How much do they have to work to buy a new outfit or a weapon or some Lord Rimuru merchandise?

These are the kinds of worldbuilding details I'm curious about, especially since Tempest is kind of a company town with scrip lmao.

Now that we know that Lubelius has a similar system, I'm curious as to how the wages compare too. Is working for the church or for the king of monsters going to get more bang for your buck??
