I know this is kinda weird, but I would find it very cute to see Bolin comfort a crying Opal, whatever the reason is. Beautiful couple moments aren't always cheerful, sadly. D:

I often think about what might have happened after the fight against Kuviras Army.It must have been such a release for the Beifongs that everything ended. And especially Opal was strong for so long. Sometimes you just have to collapse into tears and it’s great to have someone to hold you.

Metal-bending in of itself was not as easy as Suyin or Korra had made it out to be. Hours and hours and the metal still hadn’t shifted or made a dent. It was just laying there, mocking him while his face turned all various shades of red and purple.In fact, he was so focused on the metal bar that he wasn’t even aware of the damage behind him. And it must have hit him when Korra called out to him in that stern tone of hers.
