HARPER’S HEADCANONS
Harper’s father, Robert Rose, left when she was only eight years old. This caused her to have trust issues with anyone that she was introduced to. The pain that her father had left behind with her family was something that she always felt in her chest even at an incredibly young age. Even though she didn’t care too much for her father, the pain that it caused her siblings and her mother was sometimes too much to handle.
Ever since she was young, Harper had a hard time speaking with other people -- no matter their age. Teachers thought that she might be mute or suffered with hearing problems, but the only thing that was wrong was her social skills. This is still something that Harper struggles with to this day, and is seen as very shy to those around her who don’t know her that well. In fact, she doesn’t have many friends because of this.
She fell in love with video games, comic books and things of the like due to her awkward nature. Instead of going out and hanging out with friends, oftentimes Harper will stay by herself and play video games. The people that she meets through video games she talks to get to meet the silly and loudmouthed Harper that not many people get to see.
Even though she’d never dream of doing it in public, one of Harper’s favorite things to do is sing. She knows that she’s somewhat good at it, but her personality keeps her from ever letting anyone hear her. The only person that’s heard Harper’s singing voice is her mother, Millie Rose, who constantly tells her she needs to show someone how beautiful her singing voice is.
