Can't Get No || Stiles & Erica
Even though summer weather was still in full-effect, nature seemed to disregard the memo as leaves fell below from the prominent trees planted upon the campus. Colors of red, yellow and orange littered the ground, splashing a bit of contrast along the green, though browned as well grass. A small smirk/smile crossed her face at the sound each leaf made when her heeled feet stepped on them while she walked the familiar trek to the boys dormitory.
It felt good to be back āshe never thought those words would leave her lips, let alone cross her thoughts. Her first two years had been hell, made bearable only by Isaac and the few teachers that cared enough. Now though āit was going to be different. Sheād changed and with it, otherās attitudes about her were going to change, either by force or willingly.Ā
The plan was to visit Isaac and convince him to walk with her to get some food, but as she trekked, she couldnāt help but catch the sight of a boy sitting near the science building, sputtering and talking to himself. She couldnāt help but laugh at the face he made at the leaves around him.Ā
Changing course, she walked up to him, taking a seat next to him, amusement still clear on her face, even with the realization that the boy was Stiles. āDestroying what caused you problems āhm, not your usual style.āĀ
Stiles flailed for a moment, blinking at the girl as she sat next to him. "My usual style? Do we know eac... wait." Stiles folded his lips in, biting them as he pointed with two fingers pressed together at her, shaking the hand as he thought. "Erica.Ā Dang girl." Stiles made wavy finger motions at his own head. "I like the hair. Also, these leaves completely deserve to be destroyed. They attacked me, and all that attempts to cause damage upon my person should be squashed with great prejudice."
His grin was self-deprecating though as he leaned back, knowing that he had been caught acting in a less than dignified manner. "I know I am usually the epitome of poise and grace, but even the most majestic people need to sometimes crunch a few leaves, am I right? It is just so satisfying."
