how to safely navigate & survive the apocalypse: a master's guide !
firstly, let's start real simple. you should probably script you won't die, no matter how perilous the circumstances may seem. you always come out on top. unless you want your little trip to purgatory to end prematurely, who am I to judge?
loss of limb is NO JOKE! and especially likely in the event of the dead walking. if you're bitten, your group will want to amputate. best to avoid, I'd say.
your senses very well could be absolutely essential to your continued survival. with lots of gunfire used in wars with either the dead or living, your hearing may be effected. not to mention such things naturally deteriorate with time. be mindful of that if that's not something you want.
no one very important to you, that you simply cannot stand losing, will die. in my opinion, some level of loss in a post-apocalyptic world is simply to be expected, but this way you can safeguard your absolute dearest.
you know how to start a fire and keep one going. the elements are not kind, my dear.
you have long lasting stamina. for outrunning any and all types of predator's.
you've had plenty of experience with all kinds of weapons and know how to safely handle one without injuring yourself or allies.
you have near perfect (or perfect, if that's what floats your boat) aim, and rarely, if ever, miss your target.
you're good at both following and forming plans. in the event that things steer off-course, you can get crafty and improvise.
you're gifted at reasoning your way out of sticky situations with unsavory individuals. for if you don't want to brute force your way through it all the time.
your fear response is never to freeze. you always act and do something productive, whether that means running or fighting.
you have a good knack for determining if someone's lying or not. many people are only looking out for themselves, you need to know who you can trust.
you always have access to antibiotics or you never get an infection. it's a killer, folks!
you have a good sense of direction and rarely, if ever, get lost. it can be very scary to be separated from your group without a clue as to how to get back.
death is always sad, but you've become very good at coping with loss because of the nature of the world you live in. you're resilient and find comfort in knowing that you're never alone in your grief.
if they exist in your reality, you've grown used to dealing with the dead. the scent, the sight of them is never pleasant, but it doesn't have much effect on you anymore.
you're willing and able to get your hands dirty, but only if absolutely necessary. your morals remain in tact, you never become trigger-happy and you approach these matters with a level head.
you never develop PTSD or insomnia.
now, this one is very dark, but I really want you guys to stay as safe as possible, so I'll say it. you cannot be s/a'd. there are some really cruel and disturbed people in these types of worlds. please protect yourself.
as always, take what you want from this. no need to script all of it if you don't want to, I'm not here to lecture you. happy shifting 🧟
