I am stationed at Camp Forlorn Hope.

All things aside-

While playing Fallout: New Vegas, I screamed when I saw a minor character with a Turkish surname. All things led to each other, and as a Turk... I ended up loving this character.

Here we are. I sometimes draw, I sometimes write fics. AmYarrak31 on AO3.

I was thinking how Arcade Gannon reminded me of Joker from Full Metal Jacket, and...

Changed the "born to kill" helmet quote for "para bellum" (prepare for war). It's a part of the larger quote "Si vis pacem, para bellum" which means "If you want peace, prepare for war". And of course, he keeps that peace pin on.

And he definitely was waiting for Mr. New Vegas. Bet he's a big fan. Maybe it's his celebrity crush, lol.

I gave Boone a son :)

Olive skin, green eyes, prominent roman nose, cheekbones, hairy eyebrows.

His name is Cyprus, he chose it himself. He is FtM, pre-everything and will choose to remain so. Also First Recon. Boone is damn proud of him.

He's born shortly after the war. Boone raises him as a single father. Kid joins the NCR at the age of 16.

Legion returns, morphed into another faction. First Recon runs operations on them. Kid gets captured by Legion at some point, tortured for a while. After that, he's a bit off. Every now and then, he'll have nightmares of fighting in all kinds of wars throughout history (thus the WW2 American uniform). They reassign him to Strip as an MP until he gets better.

Quite a bit of therapy, Boone supporting him, even the Courier (now mayor of Strip) stepping in to make sure everything is well, things get better.

He's a good kid. Finally gets back to First Recon but it doesn't feel like the old days. Quits, joins the Followers as a social studies teacher for kids and teens. He's a happy lad.

VERY late entry for Ulysses Week's prompt "the divide". Lyrics are from Autopsy Garland by the Mountain Goats. I have a project for fnv planned involving the whole song, but I couldn't get this concept for an alternate Ulysses thing for these lyrics out of my head. I love Ulysses and the divide very much. >24 hours of drawing on this one.

This damned sickness just got like teice the worse than it was yesterday. So now, I got to think about the fact that I soon will have my birthday and while I felt slightly better for like a little time, I had to draw.

Vulpes Inculta, wearing a hat on a hat. It was a really quick one as you can see but I was not able to make it better. Maybe I will try to learn how to draw him in the future like I do with the veteran ranger outfit.

And as for day nine for the ranger outfit drawing I just made the helmet with party hat... yeah, I am not that creative but why not?

Cypriot Boone drawing I made for the late anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Cyprus.

I like to headcanon that he has Cypriot roots because I bet a man like him comes from a land just as broken as him (no offense, I'm a Cypriot myself).

Bet he's a Nicosian too, how else would he love Novac?
