Of course it was family related. Jimmy knows most of them and he knows they can get pretty toxic with one another but, Jimmy doesn’t stick his nose where it doesn’t belong. “I thought they got rid of you for good. Last time you got stabbed and no– You are not an angel but, you’re sure one hell of a sexy vampire.” Smiling wide, kissing Kol back, he was just happy to see his lover again. “I know. I missed you so much, I think about you everyday since you left.”

“Hardly, I mean I know my brother has stabbed me enough times to constitute an apology but...they’re not going to get rid of me. More importantly, I’m not leaving you again.” He was going to live his own his life, even if that meant being heart broken when Jimmy lived out his mortal one. Right now it was worth it. “Careful sweetheart, I already have an ego.” He chuckled, though Jimmy was breath-taking and Kol really didn’t deserve him. “Does that mean you’ll be okay with me staying for good this time?”

It feels like this is all a dream but, for once; it’s not. Jimmy buries his nose into Kol’s neck, smiling and crying very faintly. “You damn, bastard.” He laughs softly. “I thought you were gone for good this time but, you keep surprising me.” He pulled back a little, cupping his lover’s cheeks. “I missed you so damn much, you sexy asshole.”

Kol can never get used to how fragile Jimmy feels in his arms, he wants to protect him even though he was the one that left. “Well, we never agreed that I was an angel.” He pointed out, pulling back himself to grin at him. “I had some family business I needed to take care of it...wasn’t safe for you.” He wasn’t going to have Jimmy caught in the crossfire because of him. “You know I missed you, too, right?” He moved to kiss him again.

Jimmy really couldn’t believe his eyes. A smile was slowly presenting itself on his features, eyes getting glossy as he looks over to his long lost lover, “Kol…?” He said faintly. He suddenly dashes towards his lover, hugging him and kissing him like crazy.

The expression on his face softens immediately and it’s something he only reserves for Jimmy. He might have had a problem with it once, but that felt like a few life times ago now. “I take you missed me.” He murmured against his lips as he wrapped his arms around Jimmy.

“You look as thought you’ve seen a ghost.” There’s a smirk settled on Kol’s face as he stops in front of Jimmy and shoves his hands in pockets of his suit pants. “You look good.”
