Monkey see, Monkey do
Some of my headcanons: Kaisei asked Issho to teach him to cook so he could make meals for his mom,and also that Issho paid for Kaisei to go to a good school.
I'd love for Hikaru, Karashi, and Kaisei to help Akane with the other stories she needs to learn. I feel like Hikaru could give her a fresh take on Shibahama, Kaisei could pitch in with the third one, and since Karashi writes his own rakugo, he could help Akane out too
I love these panels of Kaisei and Karashi dancing or whatever they're supposed to be doing lmao
I just want to remind everyone that the only person who's ever beaten Akane in a competition is Hikaru

This is a genuinely fascinating anime. If you like “Apocathary Diaries”, give this one a shot. Don’t be put off by animation style, it is a genuinely beautiful work of art and doesn’t pull any punches.
Science Saru is really hitting em out of the park lately.
I'm glad the Akane banashi fandom has a variety of ships, because checking the wha tag in ao3 and is the most boring thing in the world
People need to learn not to interact with ships they don't like (and I'm not talking about problematic ships) If you don't like a ship, simply block that person or mute the ship's name. It's as simple as that. These people are literally just looking for conflict they spend more time worrying about the ship they hate than their own otp
This panel specifically gets to me. The way Issho is facing a dark cave, leading to a dead end. How Kaisei is walking towards an open area, the destination completely unknown, but shining so brightly.
We can talk about how Issho used this moment to be honest with Kaisei while hiding behind his facade of being a kind old man
