"Face Her Fears"
She feels like damaged goods as She sits there with her face in her hands
Her chest rising and falling with the thought that nobody cares
Desperate and disdainĀ
A lonely girl feeling insane
Broken heart heavy with grief
So much wanting to turn over a new leaf
Face full of ugliness or so she's been told
She is just a teenager but feels so old
She wipes her tears on her sleeve
Feeling so naiveĀ
She runs her hands through her long blond hair
Praying for someone to show they care
In the mirror she sees a face of someone she doesn't want to be
She whispers, "I wish I were pretty"
She wonders why she isn't one of the lucky girls
Who have perfect eyes, perfect skin the ones who have no care in the world
In the floor she crawls into a ball and cries
Just hoping she'd die
"No one loves me, I'm just trash."
Tears are everlasting cascadingĀ
Raining down her face
One day she hopes to fit in this place
She sits up and again wipes away her tears
She's ready to finally face her fears (C)SMP2014
