at the beginning of the jersey shore episode the twins finding frank burning their childhood albums of what they remembered to be the happiest days of their lives. the twins seeing the man they once knew as their dad calling their rare happy moments trash and getting rid of them so casually, so uncaringly. the twins having their memories treated like garbage, like something putrid that deserves to be burnt to ash.
