Hey there! Welcome to my little corner of Tumblr! Although, it's more like the space between the back of the couch and the wall, y'know, where the cats keep batting their toys and dust bunnies congregate, but whatever, you're here, I'm here, let's get acquainted.

My blog is a safe place for all. Minorities, poc, LGBTQIA+, those questioning themselves or their place, or who feel all alone in the world.

You are not alone, you are loved, and you need only reach out if you want a hug or some mom advice. I'm here and will give it to you straight.

Anyway, HIYA! I'm Qwerty, and I write fanfiction. Got a husband and a couple kids in real life, some cats, and a head full of ideas, mostly angst, and blatant self-indulgent tripe that sometimes falls out onto the page. I specialize in character interactions, and deep-diving into their psyche to really find what makes them tick.

Sonic Boom Revisited: Awakening [FANART] (@sonicboomrevisited)

Okay, so... I didn't plan on finishing it. Things just kinda.. happened? XD

Anyway, here it is! Took a few days to finish up, not including the several days a while back for the layout, sketches, line art, etc. I was working on cleaning up the sketches and finishing the primary line art so it'd be easy to follow when I posted it... I ended up going from cleaning it to full-on finishing it..Lol Wasn't planned, but- I HAD FUN WITH IT! This was inspired by Issue 2, pg. 11-12 way back when they were posted. This was kind of the rough idea I had on how I thought Sonic might come back, but it was actually pretty far off. XD

Thanks again, Sonic Boom Revisited for providing the inspiration for these fun little side projects! Especially with the art and story! Such a joy to read through and I can't tell you how many times I went back just to look at it all again; absolutely beautiful! ^v^

Sooo . . .

I'm contemplating creating a Patreon/Ko-fi thing, wherein I offer some things for those generous enough to subscribe. I figure I can do things with my writing, my crochet, my audio recordings, and even my art.

Is that something anyone would be interested in? I'm still in the beginning stages of this, and looking for ideas of what I can offer. (So any suggestions would be appreciated!)

I need to get an income stream going, and these are essentially what I have in terms of skills, for the most part. So I'm hoping get some interest, or at least an idea of what people would like to see.

Synopsis: After a tussle with an upgraded Metal Sonic “R”, Tails and Eggman are hit with an energy beam that causes them to feel one another's pain. Meanwhile, Sonic deals with the aftermath of his time as Robo-Sonic and a certain rogue bat comes to play.

Progress on pages has not been made yet, but @veeloopz is pitching in to help with inks/flats on this issue when @multiisketch is able to get back to pencils and--after 3 issues--COLORS! Yay!

I actually do think we should discourage women from becoming housewives. Do not become financially dependent on a man. That's how a lot of women ended up dead over the years. A man gets violent suddenly and you have to choose between homelessness or potentially dying at his hand because you have an enormous gap in your resume and no degrees or certifications or anything that will help you pursue a career that will allow you to be financially independent. He owns your bank account. His name is probably the one on the car. Try and leave and he can report it stolen. Where will you go then?

And if you do become a housewife, take steps to protect yourself. Make sure you’re legally married, for starters; stay-at-home girlfriends have very little legal recourse to claim their partner’s assets in a breakup. Make sure your name is on the house deed/rental agreement, and have your car in your name, even if your spouse is paying for it. Have your spouse transfer money every month into an account solely in your name, so you can buy yourself things without needing permission, but also so you can save up to leave if needed.

If your spouse fights you on any of this, then don’t quit your job. The tradwife to poverty pipeline is real, and so is financial abuse.

also, many women/people experience controlling behaviour and domestic violence from their partner for the first time during pregnancy. don’t risk thinking “he’s just stressed, it’ll get better when the baby comes” because it won’t. neither you and your child will ever be safe with that man. get out as early and safely as you can

This also holds true for forty years later when you have next to no contributions to social security after he has tired of his "workhorse wife" and married a younger woman and now you can't retire.

Also, do not do not do not DO NOT DO NOT NOT NOT NOT allow him to ever convince you to stop seeing your friends and/or family. Phrases like "don't you think you see too much of them?" or "I think you spend too much time with them" or "you don't spend nearly that much time with me" are instant red flags.

Because in the event that you do finally want to leave him? The best thing you can have for yourself is a support network. Even if you have no money, someone you trust whose couch you can crash on for a bit is better than nothing.

actually if I can complain for a minute I think it's so rancid when people are like "uuuh what did you expect from the rudeness website lmaooo" or "uwu it's the piss on the poor website you can't expect anyone to actually read what you said" or "this is literallyyy the autism website" like okay??? your personal perception of tumblr dot com doesn't actually mean people can just speak to each other any which way and expect to never receive any pushback for being a rude ass bitch. christ. get some house training.

I swear, some people are so terminally online they completely forget that reading someone's posts--even regularly--doesn't actually make you friends with them. Doesn't mean they even know who you are.

"Playful rudeness" is acceptable only with people who you know, who know you, and know that you're kidding around. And even then it shouldn't be the only way you communicate with each other. Sarcasm and poking can be fun, but do not make it your entire personality or default way of interacting with others. It's obnoxious at best, rude at worst, and gets tiresome very, very quickly.

"Rudeness website", "piss on the poor website", "autism website", as the previous reblog says, these are all individual perceptions of what this website is. And even so, that doesn't mean that manners and kindness should not be expected when interacting with perfect strangers. I would not speak to a cashier with "playful rudeness", as I do not know them and that's not acceptable behavior.

Interacting with others online doesn't mean you completely throw all social expectations to the wind. You should still be kind, still be polite, still be mindful of what you say and how you say it.

And yeah, if someone finds something you say rude or inappropriate, then they have every right to call you out on it. And you have every right to double down, but that just makes you look like a bigger jerk.

Can we please just try to be nice to each other? It really isn't that hard, and it's actually a good skill to develop for when you're out in the real world. If your default way of interacting with anyone is to be 'playfully rude' or ultra sarcastic or something, then you're gonna have a hard time of it. That becomes habit, becomes your immediate tone, and people will think you're a jerk because of it.

This website is comprised of many, many, many different people. And the idea that using Tumblr opens you up to having people be rude to you--even if it's claimed as a 'playful' thing--and you should just accept it is flat out wrong.

Fandom Problem #14,151:

Fandom culture has become so damn demotivating, due to the lack of actual engagement.

No matter how much content I throw out, I barely get any engagement from anyone. Which wasn't like this years ago, where people were still commenting and sharing and talking to you.

And then at the same time I see everyone always go on about how fandoms are dying, because the fancreators keep on leaving the fandoms and move somewhere else. Yeah, no wonder if no one talks to us.

So is shadow and rouge gonna tell GUN we're sonic is right now? Or are they just gonna say he's alive, just a temporary retirement?

They're going to tell Jewel, who is the leader of the Restoration, that he's alive, but that he needs to stay hidden. She'll do the heavy work persuading GUN to pull back on the search parties so that Shadow and Rouge don't get grilled and Sonic's location stays a secret. Sonic trusts Jewel to handle everything discreetly.

Sonic is very worried about Zip being discovered and dissected by At Least Two evil scientists, (maybe even more if GUN turns on him), so he's not coming out of hiding yet.
