“Of course! Touring the world with my lovely lady by my side isn’t such a bad idea.”

“We could always chain them in their rooms, so they can’t leave and they’d be stuck with us forever.”

“Or we could bribe them with sweets! Remember that bake sale we had back in high school? Those cupcakes were so good.”

“You have to be very careful with those, though; calla lilies, white lillies and lily of the valleys are safe choices, but orange lilies mean hatred.”

“Whoa, I didn’t know there was different types of lilies. Who would buy orange flowers anyway? Orange is an ugly color.”

Santana signed and looked up at Brittany, “Miks is already bummed out about it. I feel like she’s not happy here with just us. And I am not comfortable letting Ainsley live with Lucas, I get that she’s 18 and she can do what she wants, I just don’t like it. All our babies are leaving us, Miks will be gone before we know it.”

“What are we going to do?”

“Today at the shop, this dude wanted to give his wife hydrangeas for their fifth anniversary. Nah, man, hit her with a bouquet of tulips; yellow is always best.”

“No way, lilies definitely beat tulips!”

Santana smiled and look up at Brittany, throwing one leg over hers, letting her hand come to rest on Brittany’s stomach. “I would love that, that would be amazing. We need have dinner one night with Ainsley and her boyfriend, since she’s talking about moving in with him.”

“No..she can’t leave, especially Mic. I’ll miss her a lot. I’m totally going to be bummed out.” Brittany sighed, twirling the ends of Santana's hair.

Santana smiled softly and nodded her head slightly, “I do miss my sweet lady kisses already.” She took Brittany’s hand and placed a light kiss on it, “I love you too, Britt”

Brittany rested her hand on Santana’s waist and tugged her closer, returning her fingers to brush up and down the brunette’s arm. “Lets plan a date night soon -- maybe a picnic? I wouldn’t mind feeding you grapes or something.”

“I hope it goes away soon.” Santana laid her head on Brittany’s chest and snuggled against her, closing her eyes. “You’re the best wife ever.”

Brittany leaned down and placed a small kiss on Santana’s cheek. “Me too. Then, I can shower you with all the kisses in the world.” She smiled slightly as she spoke. “I love you so so much.”

“I hope it’s just a little stomach bug.” Brittany sank down next to Santana on the bed and wrapped an arm around her waist. “Cuddles you shall get.”

Apparently I’m coming down with something, all I want to do is crawl into bed and die. I hope it’s not the flu.
