"Good thing you stopped me in time." Aquata smiled at the woman. "Awesome shop you got here. Iâve never visit it before."
"I really shouldn't've." She quirked an eyebrow. "Shoulda made ya suffer." Mambo bowed her head at the compliment. "Thank ya. I'm hardly in here, so I wouldn't know if ya came in here or not."
"Itâs even more insane that you donât even fuckinâ know what youâre doing when I practically tell you all the fuckinâ time. What are you, retarded? Get your filthy fuckinâ hands off of me!" He grabbed her wrists and tried to pry them away, not even thinking to dare use his electricity on her. He still respected her enough not to harm her physically at least.Â
Mambo had hit him before and she wasn't afraid to do it again. When he tried to rip her hands from his face, she let go and smacked him harder than she thought she could. Mambo wasn't afraid of his power, if even dared use it. "You.. I've given ya everyt'in and dis is dah way ya treat me. I gotta right mind tah tell ya tah leave an' neva come back. But I wouldn't do dat tah ya brother."

"Are you secretly a succubus and donât want to because you donât want to kill me and suck out my soul or whatever they do?" Flo was laughing.Â
"Don' I know it."
"If I was, do ya want tah risk it, luv." She smirked.

Mambo rolled her eyes, waving her hand and going back to her talisman making. "Ya lookin' tah hurt yaself. Mambo know it."
The boyâs eyes narrowed at the woman while banged her fist with little patience. âYouâre right⌠and itâs gonna stop, mama. You wont have to worry about it anymore, since it seems to be such a damn burden to you.â
It was enough to anger her further. She walked the little space between them, grabbing his head between her hands. "What have I done tah ya tah deserve such disrespect?" Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked up at him.
Aquata jumps when she hears the voice and puts her hands in her pockets to stop the temptation, looking at the woman. âSorry. Curiosity killed the cat, apparently. Why does this bring bad luck?â
Mambo chuckled, fingering the talisman she held in her hands. It was for someone special and she wanted it finished. "It attached tah a spirit. It'll make ya life like hell."
"Oh, no thatâs alright Iâll just trust your judgement." she laughed nervously and clasped her hands together.
"How do you know itâs bad luck though?"
She smirked, continuing to braid the strings of yarn in her hand. "How do mama know? She jus' does. She know dah magic betta den dah back of her hand."
"I know what Iâm doing Mamma. Iâm way better than that stupid vibrator I swear.."
"Flotsam Agwe Laveau. Ya playin' wit' fire."
"Lilâ boy? I am not! Not that you would noticeâŚ" he huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. "You donât notice anything until itâs got to do with Flotsam."
"What are ya on about, Jetsam?" He slammed her fist into the table that sat near her hip. "Dis.. Dis 'as got tah stop. Your attitude is more annoying den dat lil' froggy croakin' in dah corner."
"Iâm sorry! I know I should only lookâŚ"
"Das right, girl. Keep ya hands to yourself."
Ariel pulled her hand away and looked up at the woman. âDo you mean like walking under a ladder?â
"If ya curious, why don' ya touch an' find out?"
" Ive killed people, I think my luck is already screwed⌠plus I canât keep the nightmares away about him lately.. maybe this will make it go away. I just want it to go awayâŚ"
"Whatcha on about, girl?" Her interested piqued.Â
"I donât know. Something about touching it?"
"Das right. An' ya touched it anyway." She shook her head. "Still like a lil' boy, ya are."
" I already have bad luck so a little more couldnât really hurt."
"Trust mama. Ya don' wan' dis kinda luck."
What does Jetsam do instead? He touches it of course.
"Ay, what did I say, boy?"Â
"Ay, no, no. Don' touch that. It'll bring ya bad luck."
Spiteful Night ⸠Mambo & Malina
Throughout her, mostly mental, struggle Malina did not notice what was happening right before her. Looking up now at the man who just so happened to pull away from her, Malina pushed herself back away from him, although remaining on the ground, wondering what the hell was happening. Before her own virgin eyes, the manâs face was becoming deformed in ways not possible to man. His eyes bulged, as well as his body, stretching every cell upon his flesh. Then out of no where, he shrunk like cotton on a dryer. Malina turned around to see if anyone was witnessing was occurred, and next to her, now, stood an older lady with dreadlocks upon her head. With her eyes wide, Malina watched as the woman walked towards what had become of the man and squash it with her feet.
Malina thought back to when she imagined a figure at the far end of the street, but could not quite remember whether it was true or a simple hallucination from when her head had been banged against the floor. For someone who had just been abused, Malina may seem somewhat calmed, but in truth her body could not quite yet register what was happening. She knew something bad was happening, but in the heat of the moment there was nothing but the need for her to get away. That was all that she could think of. All that she really wanted.
Blinking she looked around, and gasped. Realization finally finding itâs way into her system. It took a lot for her to not lay back and let the tears make trails down her face once more. She felt sore from hitting the ground so many times, and him having been upon her as well. She looked at the woman, completely oblivious to anything that she may have done to the fat man from the foster home. âWho are you?â She said, after a few seconds of catching her breath. She would have coverned her naked body too, if only the woman hadnât already been there. There was really no need, when she had already seen too much.
Mambo didn't care about the pathetic little man she had just killed underneath her foot. Being a murderer was part of her title. Her eyes flicked up to her new companion. She was prettier now that Mambo was closer. Her eyes were bright and clear and she realized her sons would love them. Mambo continued to stare, her head cocking slightly. She wasn't known as a rescuer, a savior. A smile creeped softly on her face, eyes blinking rapidly. As she stepped closer, the woman heard the squish on the animal beneath her foot. A giggle escaped her lips as she reached a hand out to the girl. "You.. yah veeeery pretty." She enunciated her consonants, her words biting as they came out. Mambo wanted her to be at ease. It was a strategy she used very often. Before she would swoop down and take her, she'd be her feel as if she was safe, saved. But she wasn't, not by a long shot.
The woman reached for her hand, taking her small little wrist between her fingers and pulling her sharply to her feet. She inspected her body knowing that any flaws will ruin her beautiful plan. To her surprise, despite being raped moments before she was perfect. The girl had natural tanned skin and she looked delicious. "Yah wanna come home wit' me, pretty girl."
