Greetings, everyone! I'm quite excited to hear from you all. Though, I won't lie, I'm also a bit nervous, ahah!

These characters, the story, and world it all goes down in is heavily work in progress! (This blog is actually partly intended to help me develop everything better)

Nothing is ever really silent, to me. It's not like I have external ears that I can cover. I can use some magic to deafen noises, but it takes some concentration. Not good for sleeping.

For a majority of nights, I've slept outside, in nature-- and the thing about nature is that it's only silent when there's danger around. So I do need noise to feel safe enough to fall asleep.

Sorry for the rambling answer, I'm... uh, quite tired right now, and concise answers require a lot more thought, and I think easier aloud. Conserving energy-- that's why... uhm. Well, goodnight? 🫂

It has come to my attention you do not know what bubble wrap is. Bubble wrap is a plastic film that you wrap around fragile things to protect them(like my emotional state!) and there are lots of little pockets of air on it that you can pop and its fun. I can totally agree with you on the ask before touch thing, especially with strangers. I wanted to ask if I can draw you guys? Oh! It's a thing I can conjure with my magic. A pale flame that has a purple hue at the base of it, cool to the touch of (almost all) living beings, but incendiary to materials with dormant magic-- that being dead and inorganic things.

I am... not sure how I'm able to do this sort of thing. My magic yet remains anomalous to me.

Hi Friends!! Random stupid question: thoughts on fire?

It's nice, practical, and pretty sometimes. I mostly just use this thing I call starfire and it's a lot less risky to living things. It's relatively cooler temperature-wise, but...

I don't like it. I hate it. Just looking at it makes me feel like I'm already burning. I have no idea why! Even the starfire! It's hot to me for some reason I don't know!

... I tend to stray away from using it outside of when it's necessary, for their sake. So currently my opinion of it is mildly negative.

I don't have many... big annoyances that aren't sensory, so lemme think... I guess... when people do that thing where they touch your shoulders or back to get your attention or try to point you in the right direction or something like that... makes my skin crawl, and like, I don't know you! Don't touch me!

I have... quite a few that come to mind. Too many, honestly. A big one for me is when a word is pluralized by misusing an apostrophe. It confuses and angers me because it's such a stupid mistake! It requires a whole extra glyph to go wrong like that! How do you NOT notice!? Another similar grammar peeve I have is when the wrong 'its' is used, but the way that word is made possesive is way easier to do incorrectly; it defies normal contraction/possessive conventions, so it doesn't bug me quite as much, and-

OH! Another one is when people like feeling right more than actually being right! HRGHHH it's idiotic! How pompous can you BE-

Cool colors. I really like five and three because three is green and five is blue. Five is nice, because it's odd so it's a nice color but it's also even in the way it's half of ten. Four and nine also are nice shades of purple.

Oh! I like even numbers because you can always split them in half and it makes things easier to think about. What colors are they?

Both of us... don't really eat conventionally. I'm a... giant magical earthworm, so I just absorb nutrients from my surroundings. I am able to taste things, though, and I find myself enjoying sweeter tastes.

I- I don't exactly have a mouth??? I can eat things- uh, kinda- In a way... Tastes don't completely make it through whatever happens to what I "eat", but really salty foods tend to make it through okay, so I guess I'd have to go with that.
