Another one inspired by the delightful @cptn_rex! (IG) Rex at the aquarium just gave me feels for some reason. I imagine he’d very much appreciate how awesome the underwater world is. As far as we know, he’s never seen it. (Also I have never drawn an aquarium scene and by golly lemme tell ya: it is a doozy.)
Anakin's immediate reaction--upon being shown his future via goth boy incarnate--to just speedrun his way to a Darth Vader ending is kinda funny ngl.
Most main characters would try to, you know, attempt to avoid meeting the obvious Bad End through any means necessary. But, nope. Not Anakin. Homeboy really did just go straight to acceptance and didn't even pause to question whether, ya know, there were other options. Literally. Any. Other. Option.
Like it's a great little mini wink from the TCW writers in regards to how Anakin will just straight up interpret any Force vision he receives as the objective truth despite the fact Obi-Wan and the Jedi as a whole teach that Force visions are nebulous at best.
But also-it's just so perfectly Skywalker of him to go for the Bad End. Doesn't even put up a fight. Just goes "Eh, sounds legit" and fucking runs with it hahaha
One of the best bits of Legends lore I remember is that as a teenager Palpatine killed someone while recklessly driving a speeder and this should have ruined his political career aspirations but his rich family covered it up. Before he learned how to use the Force at all he was already a totally evil privileged asshole in the most real way.
I've never drawn droids or clones before, so this was a first! :) Thank you @mr-damian-s-power for your order and I hope you like it! 🥰🥰
STAR WARS (1977) Dir. George Lucas
i think if i were a jedi i would make it my life mission to make yoda angry. i would give anything to hear his little goblin voice mutter the words “thin fucking ice, you are on” and click his little cane on the ground. i would do anything. kick him as im walking and be like “oh sorry didnt see you there.” go with him to the market and try to buy him for four credits and say “oh my bad i thought you were a head of cabbage.” raise all the chairs in the jedi temple just an inch. catch him while he’s sleeping and paint his little nails and then be like “odd that someone caught you slippin master yoda. wonder who could have done that.” leave crumbs in his seat in the jedi council. i mean i would do anything
There is a wound that won't heal at the center of the galaxy. There is a darkness reaching like rust into everything around us. We let it grow, and now it's here. It's here and it's not visiting anymore. It wants to stay. The Empire is a disease that thrives in darkness, it is never more alive than when we asleep. It's easy for the dead to tell you to fight, and maybe it's true, maybe fighting is useless.
STAR WARS: ANDOR - Rix Road
Deadpan humor at its finest. Raise your hand if you think highly competent Commander Cody would win this championship.

The iconic clone trio of Rebels in their Clone Wars armor. Look at their glory days!
people needdddd to wear headphones in public because while on an otherwise very lovely walk in the park today i saw a guy sitting under a tree watching a porn parody of the star wars prequels
if nothing else trying to tune out the sounds of anakin and padme going to town as i contemplate the babbling brook gave me a brief but vivid window into what it’s like to be obi wan kenobi
✨✨May the 4th be with you! ✨✨
I know padme’s friends were tired. oh so you’re marrying the hormonal teenage space monk who lives halfway across the galaxy that the you’ve seen a total of two months in the last ten years? are we sure this is love or do you just think he’s hot? bc you’re a queen turned senator and he’s emotionally stunted and in a cult. maybe we should at least wait until he cuts off that rat tail perchance?
padme: I’ve caught feelings………for a jedi
padme’s friends: girl understands obi wan is SO hot and the fact that he’s off limits only makes him hotter
padme: no, his padawan. anakin. the one who has been staying w us for the last month
padme friends:
So my beta reader for the Big Fics is an astrophysicist, right. Who is currently also writing a hard sci-fi novel about the exploration of Phobos (more power to them, I cannot with the physics required for that, best I can do is soft sci-fi/fantasy and that reminds me I should finish that story).
Anyway I was bitching about how hard it is to come up with feasible planets in Star Wars because sometimes you need a new planet from scratch and sometimes you need to know more about a planet than the 'has jungles, is probably a moon technically' than Wookieepedia will give you, and they're like 'oh yeah I can do something about that'.
So they've written (in Matlab but they swear it will run as a .exe as well and I may be conscripted to embed it as a web tool at some point) a star system generator.
You input what you know about the planet (ecosystem, population, sun colour, does it have liquid water, does it have a moon or moons, is it a moon or moons, temperature averages, atmosphere, you get me) and it will give you the... everything else about the star system, in obedience to real-universe physics. And if you input nothing you get a randomly generated star system.
And I’m like oh I know people who will be into this with a vengeance, and they're not on Tumblr, so this is me seeing who exactly would be keen on, and I cannot stress this enough, a real-physics comprehensive star system generator.
It's still in the debugging phase (last error fixed: every planet wants to have a population of exactly 5000 regardless of other factors, turned out to be a missing equals sign somewhere), but I'm psyched for this and trying to gauge interest for how high a priority 'make this an accessible web tool' needs to be.
