Aquarius Sun/Scorpio Moon
Individual freedom and power is an absolute must for these people. They love to empower the people and rebel against the tides to push things forward. The fact that the Sun and Moon are both in fixed signs should tell you right there that this combo is a very strong personality. You have the strong mental powers of the Aquarian mixed with the emotional depth and intensity of the Scorpio. Their intellect is brilliant and intense. They usually have a very established awareness of their importance in the world and will not let anyone trample on that. A strong leader, they have an outstanding ability to motivate, uplift, and persuade change/action in people. This of course can be used in a negative way to manipulate people to meet their own needs, but that depends on the individual. They can be very confusing to others, as they may struggle with wanting closeness and not wanting it at the same time. Giving a damn and not giving a damn. Scorpio and Aquarius square each other, meaning their energies do not naturally go well together. So there is bound to be a lot of inner conflict with this combo.

The contrast of temperaments found here is such that Scorpio actually starts to feel itself to be the greedy one who selfishly demands a lot from others. Itâs almost insatiable when it comes to feeding its emotional hunger. Yet hanging around transpersonal Aquarius makes the self-conscious Scorpion worry that it truly is more of a taker than a giverâmore an energy-sucking black hole of obsessive need.
To makes matters worse, Aquarius doesnât appear to have a manipulative bone in its body, plus its unusual life is an open book, and it has tons of sparkling friends. Meanwhile, lonely, brooding Scorpio sometimes even scares the pigeons in the parkâprobably due to the menacing look of wearing dark glasses on cloudy days. In Scorpioâs opinion, Aquarius doesnât seem to need a lot, because it already has it allâthe result of living a life based on inner freedom and the courage to show oneâs true colors in public. (Scorpio often seems to be a little too concerned about who has whatever it secretly craves.)
Meanwhile, the Water Bearer intuits that the Scorpion is a bit of a malcontent and a little too mysterious to be appreciated intellectually. Scorpio also seems to get too caught up in a complex of details, and it accepts little at face value.The Scorpion could benefit from Aquariusâ ability to quickly flash on the overview of any situation with dispassionate clarity. âDitch the emotional intensity and those nasty responses that go with it, and plug in to pure, accelerated mind power,â advocates Aquarius. âItâs the only way to fly!â Scorpio does get too wound up about things and people it cannot control, and so a little mental detachment couldnât hurt. If we have these two signs highlighted in our chart, we probably started off life feeling alienated, though on different levels. Both Scorpio and Aquarius could claim not to be easily understood by most folks, but then again, they are quite capable of having odd, unsettling reactions to simple social interchanges. Aquarius takes the unpredictable pathâas if itâs fun to shock people or catch them off-guardâ while Scorpio is just plain silent and seemingly unresponsive in ways that others find cryptic and even a bit creepy. Quite the driven type, this combo may compromise their health because they donât know when to take a break. This combo has to be careful not to let their perception of reality become warped by their negativity. The eccentric mind of Aqaurius Sun combined with the darkness of the Scorpion moon can make these people downright psycho sometimes and they can become fixated on these perceptions, sometimes even to the point of hallucinations. But on the flip-side, Aquariusâ unique perception and ability to innovate the unthinkable combined with Scorpioâs ability to easily see the root of a problem combined with both signsâ fearlessness can result in very powerful revolutions of the heart that ripple through everyone and everything around them as a catalyst for change and growth. Aquarius giving the water of life to the new and improved, Scorpio taking away what must die.

As mentioned before, this combo is of two fixed signs. These individuals just need to pause sometimes and make sure they are fixed on the right path, for this combo has a LOT of power to be harnessed and that is not an easy task. They must be careful how they use this power, as they are very capable of destruction on a mass scale by spreading their poisonous mind through their unique ability to connect with the masses. But if used for good, they can easily create massive positive forces that will ripple through time. Think of what Dumbledore and Voldemort could produce if they worked together.
