Kim Jones’ first campaign as artistic director of the Dior menswear features the emblematic BFF character, conceived by New York-based artist Kaws and wearing a suit to symbolize Christian Dior, echoing the monumental centerpiece constructed for the summer 2019 show.

Japanese-imprint uniform experiment has returned with a range of youth culture-infused offerings for its Spring/Summer 2019 lookbook and collection.

The lookbook, which uses an old school as its backdrop, brings forth a variety of Americana-inspired offerings, from graphic emblazoned MA-1 bombers, Harrington jackets with internal collar details, logo-printed suits, embroidered crewneck sweaters, slim-fitting trousers, loose-fitting shorts, and military-styled parkas. The Spring/Summer 2019 collection from Han Kjøbenhavn is inspired by the time when computer technology entered our daily lives and the changes from being kids playing outside in the fields, to become “indoor kids” spellbound by the electronics. The collection represents the contrast between nature and technology by fusing natural, traditional fabrics and floral artworks with modern, technical fabrics and artworks inspired by electronics and classic video games.
