her design is simple in concept, but in practice? Hoo Boy.

i kinda knew I wasn't gonna be able to fit her whole wingspan onto the page from the start. so. she had to squeeze in a little. and that cluttered things a little. getting the tones to agree with each other took me a hell of a while - so many shapesss =~= - and even still she's real busy! not in a way i mind though. her feathers are pretty imo ^.^

oftentimes I just elect to exclude the bellends altogether but i wanted to be loyal to form for this one. ò.ó i like to think that the plates on her face flutter and click together as she breathes. that would be real cool
