"Yes this late." She said in conformation. She wasn’t going to miss out on the prime opportunity to get class work done, whilst being ahead of the rest of the students. "Take a break? I haven’t the slightest clue what that word means." She added, a smile pulling at her lips. "I’ve over worked myself since the beginning of the term when I first started here, why shouldn’t I continue my legacy as the student who doesn’t know what a break is?"

Remus felt a fond smile grow on his lips, he knew all too well about this from being her teacher for a year. "I should have known better then. It surely does pay off, from what I recall, you were one of the best students I thought." He chuckled lightly.

Sitting by the edge of the Black lake on her stomach with a pencil in hand, the blonde was completely lost in the confines of her sketchbook-her own little world so to speak. It was lonely kind of world,but it suited her just fine. Though the rest of Hufflepuff house was the same in a sense. Staying in their heads,but at least they weren’t stuck up like Ravenclaws were.

Mellie only looked up when a twig was snapped somewhere behind her, out of instinct her hand wandered to underneath her robes, hovering just over her wand’s hiding place. “W-who’s there? Has somebody been watchin’ me?”

Remus had come outside for a walk to clear his head. Whenever he was stressed or worried, he would come out her and take a walk around the lake. The sounds around him usually helped figure out what to do next, or to just calm down.

When he began the trek down to the shore of the lake, he noticed a girl lying in his path. Stopping for a moment, he saw that she was a Hufflepuff, but couldn't quite see the girls face. She looked so peaceful though. Remus hadn't realized he'd been staring when he stepped on that blasted twig, alerting her of his presence.

"Sorry.." Remus blushed, he didn't want the girl to believe he was watching her, which he wasn't, not really. "Sorry," he repeated before giving an awkward laugh. "I wasn't staring, or at least I wasn't meaning to. I was, uh- Just going for a walk around the lake."

Topped with a frilly pink crown, Remus sat at an undersized table surrounded by plushy stuffed animals. With a glare that could kill all he slowly picked up the tiny tea cup and brought it to his lips. This was the last time he made a bet against James and Sirius…. When he heard someone approaching his head shot up and his eyes were wide. “This isn’t what it looks like I swear!”

Valerie smirked and walked farther into the room. “The safer bet would be to have said Potter couldn’t get Evans to go on a date with him. Black… has a way with the female population, doesn’t he?”

She took a seat on the floor, joining his little tea party. “What would you have had Black do if he had lost?”

Remus laughed at her comment, it really was true. "Yeah, you could say that."

"Well," Now he was grinning, recalling what he had planned. "I was going to make him publicly declare his 'love' for Snape. Oh that really would have pissed him off. The two can't stand each other."

"Though, the real question is do I want to know what kind of bet you lost to receive such a…punishment?"

"Well I uh-" He started, glancing down in embarrassment. " I bet James and Sirius that Sirius couldn't get Mary Macdonald to go on a date with him. I lost." At this his next words came out muttered beneath his breath. "Stupid really, cause last week she couldn't stand the sight of him."

Gaining a bit more confidence now he looked up to meet her eyes. "The bet said that the winner got to pick one embarrassing thing the loser would have to do, so here I am."
