genuinely wondering if there isn't something deeper about Susie's themes in chapter 1 ("Susie" and "VS Susie") being mostly electric guitar based, and then Kris being made to play the electric guitar in chapter 3, as if you could parallel that to Susie's wish to learn how to play the piano all while knowing how tied it is to Kris' indentity as someone separate from the player. i don't know what precisely, but i'm sure there's gotta be something about it that goes deeper than it just being a "nice coinkidink".

maybe i'm just seeing things, maybe i'm misremembering them too, as i said a replay of the whole game is in order for me, but still, i've been thinking about Susie's theme periodically, so for some reason I can't help but think about it sometimes since so much of the game is, in fact, intentional apart for rare occurences

well. made some of those very quick introductory sheets you sometimes see in tankobons between chapters for this story. these don't cover even 1% of their actual characters, especially in their games of origin, of even in this stupid story, but i guess it was to challenge myself to describe them as shortly as possible specifically for the purpose of this story

I am starting to wonder if that one strategy of telling yourself "my favorite character wouldn't want this for me" genuinely works with certain characters but considering mine is the Literal Embodiment of Hope and Going Against What The World Expected Of You For The Better maybe it could work as long as I'm deathly dedicated to keep her in character

I want to draw Susie with dragon wings and Noelle with angel wings, not only together not also as like. A sort of game of contrasts. Dragon of Hope, Angel of death. Dragon defying what the entire world expected, starting with herself, filled with Hope to save the world, Angel who slowly is learning the truth about the world, slowly going insane, despairing.

Has this been done before? Of course. Am I going to still add to the pile? You bet your ass I will. Two cakes, remember?
