Firey and independent with a give ‘em hell attitude, Marcella was everything that Dominic could want in a granddaughter and more than Salvatore had bargained for in a daughter.
While Sal had been thrilled with his daughter’s natural ability to charm her way into or out of any situation, Camilla did not share his enthusiasm and wanted their daughter to have somewhat of a normal life.
As she got older, her stubborn streak began to show more and more, causing a rift in the Luciano family. She acted out and rebelled against her mother’s wishes for her, putting her foot down and insisting that she could make her own choices and do whatever she wanted with her life, including follow in her father’s footsteps.
When her parent’s announced their divorce, Marcella was far from surprised. She had seen it coming since she was a child and was actually surprised that it hadn’t come sooner. Unlike her siblings, it did not affect her much and her daily life continued to go on the same path it always had.
Marcella and her sister Isabella are extremely close. The pair have a condo together not far from the family home. While they usually get on great, Marcella isn’t blind to her sister’s behaviours and partying. She has gotten tired of picking her up drunk at all hours of the night and has begun trying to convince her to give it up with little success.
Salvatore Luciano: Father
Sal and Marcella were always close. When she was young and her mother tried to enroll her in dance lessons, he would sneak her out of class early to take her to the shooting range. Even after his affair came to light and his father re-married, Marcella stuck by his side. Despite her natural abilities, Sal has always been hesitant to actually let Marcella go out on family matters. She has been desperately trying to prove herself to him as of late.
Initially, Nathan was Marcella’s in with the crime side of her family. She began spending more time with him in an attempt to prove to her father that she could handle all the gory details that the life brought along with it. The more time they spent together, the closer they became and eventually, he became something that Marcella would consider a friend.
