Something no one tells you when you’re going through a tough time, is that even the smallest people will remember you. i know none of us like n*ymar but with the toxic masculinity within the football fandom i think being able to cry in the arms of your opponent, one hand on their back, basically grasping at their shirt and letting the opponent hug you with both arms... i just always hope that other men see this and realize that it‘s okay. there‘s nothing shameful about crying, and holding on to another man for comfort. it‘s healthy, it‘s healing. opening your heart and admitting defeat is not a bad thing.
