I think the main conflict in Ticket to Heaven people are anticipating is gay love vs God. But I wonder if the story is going to get into love in general vs love for God. As in, gay or straight, having any type of love for another person that potentially rivals your love for God is sinful. Or if you love your job, your dog, etc. If any love you have starts to rival your love for God, you are sinning and going to Hell if you don't repent. Would be interesting if that got explored.

Because heaven meant seeing his parents again.

Obeyed.

Believed.

Then he met a boy who felt like sin.

We talk a lot about actors who say everything with their eyes (i.e. park jihoon, Net Siraphop, etc.), but after watching the first episode of ticket to heaven, I've got to mention both Gemini and Fourth together, because they've been doing this since MSP.

Those two can show their characters having entire conversations with just their eyes and you're never at a loss for what's being said. When their characters are hiding what they're thinking, you can feel the weight of what it is they're trying to hide.

MSP was a comedy, and with Thai series especially, that often means exaggerated physical comedy, but Fourth in particular during MSP was able to weave in subtle emotion in an unmistakable way.

Moonlight Chicken is an especially good example, because we can literally see Heart and Liming gradually begin to understand each other more and more and we see it in their eyes.

Ticket to Heaven only has one episode so far, but the amount of story that has been told in Tan and Barth looking at each other (both knowingly and not) is great. And they do it so well.
