Marilyn Monroe. This picture is part of a famous photoshoot shot by Philippe Halsman in 1949, for LIFE magazine.

A photo shoot was called "Eight Girls Try Out Mixed Emotions."Halsman asked the girls to portray various emotions to demonstrate their acting skills. This particular shot, often referred to as "Marilyn Crying", captures her in a moment of expressing grief or severe distress.
