So I thought about a lot and I’ve decided that I’m moving all of my muses over to this multimuse. I’m really sorry if you don’t like multimuses! I just can’t deal with all of these blogs but I don’t want to start abandoning a bunch again?

      It was the reality that not everyone would be of accepting if two girls were to get together. Chika never really had to deal with something like that. Never having dated or anyone ever asking her out, she had no real experience with that sort of thing. She knew that she’d never judge anyone though, especially her friends! If there was a relationship in Aqours, she wouldn’t mind it at all.

      “Still, if any of us do get in a relationship with each other, Chika-chi will accept them and will be really happy for them! I think that any of us in Aqours would think that way. We’re all friends and would want everyone to be happy!”

❝ That’s our Chika-chi! Always optimistic. No, I don’t think anyone in     Aqours would judge someone else for liking girls. After all, I     don’t feel like any of us are straight. ❞

She could call it just a hunch, but it wasn’t like the other girls hid it very well. There were a few she wasn’t certain on, but she decided to just group them in anyway. She doubted any of them were actually straight, though she believed that some might pretend to be. It was understandable, really. There were a lot of reasons for someone to pretend to be that way. After two years in America, she couldn’t even begin to consider hiding it from her friends. Her parents were another matter entirely.

❝ In America it’s pretty much accepted if you’re gay. Of course there     are still people who are against it, but you can be very open about     it. Maybe that’s why I’m so open. I think it’s silly to have to hide it     so much! But no one can blame them for doing it. ❞

      Chika might have given off that she wasn’t the brightest girl in the world—her test scores could say that much—but she knew enough to know what Mari was trying to say this time. Why would she be asking if she had any sort of feelings like that with Riko though? 

      Then again, maybe it would be best to avoid asking such a question.

      “A secret romance inside Aqours? It could be exciting! Chika-chi wouldn’t know who would have feelings like that though.” The more she now thought about it, the more she wondered why something like that would have to be a secret in the first place. Did Mari have a reason for it to be such a secret? “And why would they need to keep it a secret? We’re all friends and would accept them… right?” 

❝ Of course! We’d all openly accept them, I’m sure. The problem     is that not everyone in Aqours is as open as we are. They     would probably like their romance to be private! Who’s to     say~! Maybe they’d think it would be better no one knowing,     since our audience definitely can’t find out. ❞

That is, unless they wanted to be known for being idols that have members that are out of the closet. That would probably increase their popularity with certain people, but... Certainly not for others. Chika couldn’t be unaware enough to not be aware of that, right? Maybe it was best to make sure.

Perhaps the most open woman she knew. Even You understood that Mari wasn’t one to be taken lightly, in spite what her unreserved nature may seem at first glance. At the same time, the athlete assumed every student already figured out the third year’s preferences, as if it wasn’t clear at first glance.

“Those idols were probably playing it up for for the fans, I can fli-” Woops, her tongue slipped. By comparison, You wasn’t a connoisseur by any means. Or as open, for that matter. ”…I-I mean, it’s so obvious sometimes.”

She winked back at You, a smile on her lips. Maybe she could convince her to be more obvious about it too! There was really nothing wrong with being open about it in her eyes. The two years she had in America had made her realise just how silly it was to be reserved with her sexuality. Sure she hadn’t told her parents, but letting everyone else know she was gay was just find by her.

❝ It is very obvious, isn’t it? It’s also obvious to me that no     one in Aqours is straight. I don’t think so, anyway. ❞

      It seemed like whatever real teasing that was happening here went right over Chika’s head. If it was about her and Riko, then she didn’t catch on about it. The only thing she got from all of that was about how her and Riko were so close! That was certainly true, and she was just as close to You too! At least, to her she was. She loved both of them very much!

      “Isn’t it the same with Mari-san, Dia-san, and Kanan-chan? You three are really close too!”

❝ Well, it is a bit similar to that! So Chika-chi doesn’t harbor any     [super romantic feelings] towards Riko? Ah... What a shame. ❞

It was only a shame because she didn’t really give her much material to tease her with there. She didn’t even seem embarrassed! Just confused. She supposed that fit Chika to a T, though. There was nothing wrong with that by itself, in fact Chika probably just saved herself. For now.
