Home!
So marks the end of my month abroad. I arrived in the States on Saturday and the past few days have been filled with acclimating back at home. On Friday we took a bus to Mestre, a town in Venice that is on land. Our flight was Saturday morning, and we had to be awake at the bright hour of 4am; after two flights and 18 hours of traveling, we were back in America. Unfortunately, after my dad picked me up from the airport we got into a car accident. We are both completely fine but our car had to get towed, so that was just another headache and an extra four hours added on to my day. Needless to say, I was exhausted. But once we got back home, my whole family went out to dinner to celebrate my homecoming and my mom's birthday.
I am now back in Delaware, enjoying the last week of winter break before spring semester starts. I plan on relaxing and enjoying the wonders of Main Street. My study abroad experience was one I will never, ever forget. I have crossed so many things off of my bucket list in such a short period of time. For now, I am incredibly happy to be back home, but I'm sure in just a few days I will be longing to be back in Europe.
Ciao and thanks for reading!
