He cleared his throat and shuffled awkwardly as she struggled to speak, “It’s okay, thanks for apologizing. You wanna come with me or something?” His eyes wandered off Marina and to the figure obviously not a patient or a staff member standing in the lobby, his brain putting two and two together. “You wanna go quickly?”
Marina nodded lightly, almost not enough to be noticeable, before gripping onto the sleeve of his shirt childishly, as if she needed guidance, before blinking up at him lightly. "J-Just...don't let him come o-over here." The fourteen year old tried not to let her eyes water even more than they already had, but it was hard.
