New fic alert!

Hello old friends, and those of you who still follow this now rather stagnant blog. Just wanted to share with you some fun news - after a hiatus that would make George RR Martin proud, I have written a new thing! Small And Pleasant Things - a little fic requested by my beloved @crackinthecup requested some tender little moments between Melkor and Mairon. Of course, I was only too happy to oblige, with a signature markedasinfernal spin on it of course. A dreadful accident befalls Utumno's lieutenant, but ever his master is by his side to see him recovered. Kind of a hurt/comfort vibe, leaning more towards the former, but I hope you enjoy it all the same. Involves injury and medical / recovery processes so take care if these things are not your cup of tea. There will be 7 chapters and I expect to post about once a fortnight. Check it out on AO3 through THIS LINK And who knows, posting updates might kick my ass back onto tumblr now and then, so maybe this blog will rise from the depths of the dead marshes once more!
