So, I've finally arrived in Germany and survived my 8 hour drive.. all alone! It helps though when you have such stunning scenery to enjoy. The time passes much quicker! I never understood the beauty of the mountains until I moved to Torino.. so most of the drive through The Alps & Switzerland, I was daydreaming of doing this trip again but, as a passenger and not a driver ✌🏻😂 Happy New Year everyone and have a great start to your 2018! BIG NEWS UPDATE! Today is my last day living in Italy 💔!! In about 1 hour the removals company will be coming to move all my things from this lovely little flat and move them too... GERMANY 🇩🇪!! You know that feeling you get when your holiday has finished and you must go home, well multiply that by 2 years and then you'll know how I am feeling right now haha. I have a new role within my company so, it's time to say arrivederci to Torino and willkommen in the Düsseldorf region. Paying tribute to the Torino football team that was completely wiped out / killed in a plane crash at this site in 1949. It's a moving shrine, especially because you also see many scarfs/notes etc from away fans who make their way up here also. This Torino team also made up 10 of the 11 national players for Italy so it's easy to understand why so many Italians make their way up here to the top of the hills surrounding the city. RIP Grande Torino 👏🏻 (at Basilica della Superga)
