  "The kids, yeah, because they already got it in their brain they have to always come. The teens…eh, it’s kinda off and on, really." Davis shrugged, a chuckle coming out of his mouth. "So what? I’m amazing, they should always hear me." He laughed, shaking his head. "But you came with me to get it. So it’s yours too."

"Oh true, so you brainwash them?" she teased. Marni rolled her eyes and pushed him towards the pet store "I know you're amazing now be quiet!" she said hiding behind him. She smiled at David softly and shook her head "fine! If you say so" she grinned at him before the two rushed over to the puppies in a cage.

  "I know right?! I swear they’re so adorable, i love each and every one of them to death!" He grinned, walking towards the entrance. "Yee haw!" He let out a bark of laughter. "I’m glad you think so, i try to help everyone with their self esteem. And it usually helps. so that’s what i’m trying to achieve." He nodded. "Let’s go! Your puppy too."

"Do they actually turn up for therapy? Rogan's always complaining that his patients never turn up" Marni said with a chuckle. Marni put a hand over her face laughing and shaking her head "quiet people'll hear you" she teased. "It's your puppy David" she repeated and smiled "I'll just visit them loads!"

  "It will, they’ll like it and have fun with it. Oh i don’t mind too much, they’re the cutest little things." He laughed, his bright eyes filled with happiness. "Then i lived in the country!" He chuckled, climbing out of the car himself. "Well, i’m gay." he started, a blush creeping onto his cheeks. "And i wanted to come here to let the kids know it’s okay to be what they want to be, to be themselves, because some of their experiences haven’t made them think that."

"They are, some of these kids are precious!" She smiled thinking of a couple "too adorable for words". Marni laughed "Yes you did country boy." Marni smiled nodding "that's lovely". She didn't care that he was gay at all but she did notice the blush on his cheeks but she decided it would be better to leave it. "So? Lets go get you a puppy!" she said chuckling.

"I don’t know, maybe i’ll just ask all of them what they think it should be. Then whoever has the best one gets a bunch of candy and bragging rights." He shrugged, pulling into the parking lot of the mall. "We lived in Lawrence, yeah. Kansas counts as country, right?" He laughed, nodding his head. He loved reminiscing, it reminded him of his family.

"Yeah that sounds good, it'll be nice for the little kids. They'll never leave your office now" she said with a chuckle. "Yeah that's country!" she teased lightly as she undid her seatbelt and climbed out of the car shutting the door and turning to face him. "So what brought you here...?" she smirked "and why a therapist?"

  "It is, it has to fit their personality and their look. Maybe we can let one of the littles name ‘em?" Davis inquired, raising his eyebrows. He shook his head. "Nope, they loved them as much as i did, i’m so glad i got to have them." He laughed, nodding his head. "That, my friend, is very true."

"Oh that would be perfect yes you should do that. Maybe you could make it a prize or something?" she said smiling. "Well that's great, did you guys live out in the country I'm guessing? That many dogs doesn't sound like a city family" she chuckled. She was enjoying hearing about David's life it sounded so different to hers.

"Sage their doctors they can help. You need help sweetie, please don't reject help" she shook her head quickly tears filling her eyes but she pushed them down. "No, not like that, never like that. Sage you're paranoid sweetie. I just want to help you" she pleaded.

  Sage took her hands back, holding them to herself and shook her head ” I can’t b-believe anyone.. A-And you aren’t going to tell anyone I was t-talking to you about this! N-Not even that guy you are w-with!”

Marni bit her lip "Sage have you spoken to anyone about this? Dr. Long? Or the guy I'm with Rogan, he's a doctor too. They could help you... they can give you the meds that you need sis"

  She took a step back “I’m not going. Th-The music will probably be stupid anyways.. I-I like my room.”

Marni reached forward taking her hand "okay you don't have to go, I won't make you. But Sage you have to believe me, you're not going to be like Mom..." she gave her a gentle smile. "You're right the music will be awful and they'll probably be party games for the pre-teens but I dunno..."
