my second i see blue zine: nights like these !!! i wanted to really lean into the religious themes in the song with this zine, i found the image for the cover and knew it was perfect. i couldn't find enough other religions images that matched the aesthetic so i went with candlesticks and i am really really happy with it

Okay this is so cool i’m gonna see if i can spot every reference here (beware the rambles below the cut)

I see the hair-cutting scissors and full thing of pills (idk what the name of those things medicine comes in is lol) which i’m pretty sure is a reference to I Am Cold

The coffee cup could be a ref to Don’t Drink Coffee or Caffine and Bad Decisions, not gonna put lyrics bc there are alot of coffee related lyrics in those songs lol

The smashed wine glass is from Starting Fires i think

There’s also the shadows of a fire in the background at the bottom which is probably also related to Starting Fires, but could also be a (goddamn!) garden fire

The pattern at the top could be waves at a beach? Which could be Life’s a Beach, but also could be Starting Fires too

The beaded necklace with a cross could honestly be most of the songs, there are quite a few religious references in this ep (as someone said in another post, you can really see the 7 years of catholic schooling in this ep lol (edit: i just realised that was you who said that lmaooo))

There are alot of different things on their faces, which could be alot of things, the tears could be from I Am Cold

Some of them could also be bruises like in Caffine and Bad Decisions

And i assume those bugs at the top are crickets also from Caffine and Bad Decisions
