So you could say I'm really bad with so-called hiatus' and such..but I will be able to make it down to HITS Ocala & WEF from March 18th-23rd! I'll be at the Million Dollar Grand Prix along with visiting some barns and such with my barn as a fun trip. I'll also be trying to make it down to a late weekend of Thermal sometime in late February if I can fit it in. Sorry, I've been the absolute worst at responding and being active, school has been kicking my butt!

Do you still ride with bridges equestrian? If so, why?
No, I don't, I actually ride with Hurley Equestrian now. I changed barns because I felt it would be a good change and I'm really happy where I am now.
Where could I find more of your thermal pictures?
Sorry this is such a late response, but all Thermal pictures are uploaded here. Most of them are on my page, however some are archived in my desktop computer and haven't been uploaded yet.
Las Vegas Nationals - Who's Going? & Update
Hello all,
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who follows and has continued to follow me during my photography & showing journey. Currently college has been insane (I take 3 online classes! *why*) and riding has been fantastic. I haven't had any new pictures to post and I feel horrible, HOWEVER. November 13th through the 16th I will be at the Las Vegas National Horse Show! If you'd like to meet up, message me here or add me on Facebook so we can chat. I will be there taking pictures for my barn, Hurley Equestrian, and I will be photographing some of the bigger classes as well. Really stoked, let me know if you'll be there and maybe we can work something out! Again, thanks to everyone who's been reblogging and staying loyal followers even though I've been M.I.A.

Current Mini-Hiatus
College is starting up in a few weeks (Aug. 18th!) and I've been incredibly busy with work. I haven't been able to make it down to Del Mar for any of the Blenheim shows; maybe on a day off or I'll just have to wait for the fall season. Sorry I've been so inactive guys, I'll see if I can upload some old edits. Thanks for sticking in there with me!

Sorry it's been about a month since I've posted anything - I've been swamped with school and work. I'll be getting new pictures soon in a few weeks of all the Blenheim shows, plus I'm graduating in 3 days so I will be free besides work. Hopefully I'll get some new pictures up within a week or two!

Yes I do! I ride with Bridges Equestrian down in San Juan Capistrano!
I am new to photography and I am just wondering if you could give me time on action shots like how to time the jumping ones and capturing it/ the Action shot
No problem! So, what I normally do (and any photographer will tell you this) is that I pan when I'm following a moving subject. Panning is when you move the camera the direction of the moving subject, that way you have less of a risk of having the image blurred. Also, for jumping pictures, you just need to practice! It took me quite a while to figure out the timing, but now I can adjust my timing in case a horse takes off early, adds a stride, etc. it's harder to time for jumpers because it's so fast paced, and hunters are very timed rounds and you know the strides; that's how I learned. In general, you've just got to get out there and practice until you get it down! Hope this helped!
