I just got back from watching Deadpool, and now thanks to a throwaway post-credits gag I kinda wanna see Keira Knightley play Cable. Even if it’s just for like a minute or two as a joke.

Sometimes I get the occasional like/reblog of my odd abridged series or raocow related posts, and I’m grateful for each and every one. It’s always comforting to know that I’m not the only one who appreciates that stuff.

So does post timeskip Nico Robin’s suddenly light skin seem kind of suspiciously Book of Mormon to anyone else, or is that just me?

So I have this idea I kind of like for how Garnet fused for the first time, and how that idea might have come about. I’m guessing it happened before the big final battle that lead to the strawberry field, either that or some other major battle during the rebellion. I imagine Ruby and Sapphire both being anxious and scared before the battle, and mostly being scared for each other’s safety, because the both of them are small, weak gems that are easily broken by larger Homeworld gems. Because they’re in love and scared, and they trust each other more than anyone, and each one doesn’t want to see the other one hurt or destroyed, they decide to fuse. 

What happens after that surprises everyone, including them. They feel more free than ever as Garnet, and able to do anything. They feel each other’s love in a way that neither of them thought possible before. It feels so natural that they wonder why they never thought to do it before, feeling something special that makes them never want to be apart.

Not only is it something amazing for the two of them, but Garnet also turns out to be a surprise advantage on the battlefield as well. With her combination of strength and fast reflexes, made all the faster by her future vision, she becomes a nearly unstoppable force in battle. She always seems to know when and how someone is going to attack her, and she can usually tell Rose what strategy the enemy is going to rely on. Garnet seems almost as unstoppable as Rose Quartz herself.

After the battle, she feels disgust and loathing over the battle that had to be fought. Inside her, Ruby and Sapphire are saddened by the horrific battle where countless gems were broken. They need comfort more than ever, and they get it from each other. So for that reason, and the reasons I also mentioned before, she decides not to unfuse. Garnet decides to stay Garnet forever.

This weekend, there is going to be a charity event known as Madness, Mayhem & Charity, and it’s main goal is going to be to help fund research into making a vaccine for HIV, which will hopefully save a lot of lives. This event is being held by a YouTuber known as Devchelle2,...

The YouTube event part of this fundraiser is over, but you can still donate if you wish to until June 10, 2015. This is important research that will help many lives, so please consider donating.

This weekend, there is going to be a charity event known as Madness, Mayhem & Charity, and it’s main goal is going to be to help fund research into making a vaccine for HIV, which will hopefully save a lot of lives. This event is being held by a YouTuber known as Devchelle2, who is an HIV positive non-binary individual who runs two YouTube channels, one his own, which I just linked, and a collaborative channel with other YouTubers known as The Breakfast Club. Devchelle2 and various other YouTubers, including Steve Shives(May 16, 1 pm EDT) and Zinnia Jones(May 17, 8 pm EDT) will be holding this event online on this site from May 16th 2015, 12 PM Noon Eastern USA(EDT) time through all day Sunday May 17, 2015. This is an important thing, since HIV research is something that will affect and possibly save millions of lives, including many young LGBT people. Even if you can’t donate, it would be amazing to spread the word, given the importance of this research. With any luck, this will be an important event that will help with creating a vaccine to HIV, and eventually a cure. Please Donate if you can, I will be, but at the least spread the word.

HIV is a serious problem, and one that will probably be fixed with proper research, and the sooner the better, because people are dying of it, and if the sooner a vaccine can be made for it, the sooner we can make sure that fewer people get infected with this bullshit disease to begin with, and then fewer people will have to die from it.
