🎆 Han x Leia Holiday Exchange 2024 🎆

Hope, creativity, and love are more important than ever in these times, and we hope this event can do a little something to help brighten up the coming months. Welcome to the 2024 edition of our classic Han x Leia Holiday Exchange!

This is an anonymous exchange where each participant will write and receive a Han/Leia fanfic (min.: 500 words, max.: ~5k words).

Who can participate? Anyone and everyone who loves Han and Leia! Whether you prefer Legends, Disney canon, or AUs; whether you've written 100 fics, 5 or zero; whether you’re a new fan or an older fan; whether you even celebrate any holidays or not... if you enjoy writing, presents, and Han and Leia, this event is for you!

Assignments go out: November 23-24, 2024

Half-point check in: Week of December 16, 2024

Deadline to request a beta: January 9, 2025

How does it work?

This exchange will take place both on Tumblr and on Archive of Our Own (Ao3), which means having an account on both sites is required to participate. (If you don’t have an Ao3 account, please contact the mods — they can send you an invite and help with any questions!)

You will need to sign up via the link to Ao3 below and will upload your work to the collection there whenever you’re finished. We will post it for you on January 19, and it will remain anonymous until January 31.

You’ll use Tumblr to receive communications from the mods and to send/receive anonymous messages to/from your recipients/writers, so make sure your Tumblr has anonymous messaging turned on. We do ask you to please reach out to your recipient at least once: not only is it a great way to find out more about what kind of gift they would enjoy, but it’s also a really fun part of the exchange!

I watched the last season of a TV show recently but I started it with my friend in high school. We haven’t spoken in four years.

I make lentil soup through the recipe my gran gave me.

I learned to love books because my father loved them first.

Please please please I know we all love Friends and Chandler was our favourite character and Matthew always put a smile on our faces and that’s all amazing but can we please please please talk about this:
