Raquel Cassidy as Mel in “Lead Balloon: Fatty” (2006)
The past beats inside her like a second heart.
I’m all in for those ships where one is really cute and looks so innocent but can cut your neck if you piss them off and the other seems all rough and tragic past and all but is a big cute puppy who will follow the other to the end of the earth. (x)
TWW Fandom Roll Call!!
Is everyone still alive?! Have we got any fan girls down? Any serious Hecate related injuries? Heart attacks? Gay panic? IS EVERYONE ACCOUNTED FOR?!?
hands and fingers appreciation | this whole entire scene tho
We all need to take time to smell the roses.
Softbroom was not about a strict woman becoming crazy. It was about a repressed lesbian being gay all over the place.
I expected Softbroom to be hot and maybe gay, but holy hell, this exceeded all of my expectations. This episode was like the repressed lesbian finally escaping, and my giddy bats, it was a monster.
Seriously, this is the “I’ll do you later,” face.
This is the “You know you want me, I’m fucking irresistible,” instance.
“Don’t speak now, not in front of everybody. Let’s wait until we’re alone later.”
Everybody thinks this was a badass rugby tackle, but it was actually Dimity giving in to Hecate’s irresistible lesbian come-ons.
“Oh shit, I’m her new conquest.”
Hecabae, a rose and the power of asking Whyyyy?????
So in love with the Miss Softbroom episode. I just noticed that before Hecate takes the antidote to the personality changing potion the realisation you see on her face when Miss Doomstone says “this school is finished!” Is like a small wake up call.
Its almost as if she realises how serious the situation has become and that Ada could lose both her job and the school.
Ada trusted her to be in charge to ensure that didn’t happen and has every faith that she will succeed in charming over Miss Doomstone. It’s for this reason that although she no doubt enjoyed letting her hair down, she knows things have to go back to the way they were; not for herself, but for Ada.
Hence, why she gives Miss Doomstone the personality changing potion, she knows it’s their last chance of saving the school. When she realises it worked she decides it’s time to take the antidote, and revert back to Miss Hardbroom. The little wink she does at the end before walking behind the pillar is almost as if she is telling them goodbye as Miss Softbroom before reverting back to her normal self.
However, we all know Miss Softbroom likes to appear now and again and isn’t completely gone. She is apart of Hecate; the part that she likes to keep hidden and I like to believe the potion just gave her Miss Softbroom side a small kick to come to the surface.
That’s what I love about Hecate Hardbroom, her character has so many different dimensions and little quirks that you can’t help but fall in love with her.
