I took this photo in NYC when I went on Marywood’s NYC Bus Trip for the Art Majors!Â
Here’s some photos of my brother and his fiance! He just got engaged so I used what I learned in my classes to take engagement photos for them!
This one is one of my favorites this semester! I filled my bathtub with whole milk and water, put in some flowers and my friend Hannah jumped in to give me some amazing photographs for my critique.Â
Here are some photos I took of my friend Liz for my critiques!
Fall Semester 2015
Hello there! It’s been a couple months since I posted on my Marywood tumblr. Sorry for the delay in posts! My classes are going well, everything is pretty simple. I love my teachers. The only thing I don’t like is my Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have class all the way from 9am to 6pm! Those three hour classes for my studio arts are what cause such a weird time frame like that. Since the beginning of the semester, I played soccer for a little. That didn’t work out, so now I have more free time and I’m focusing on my major instead. I have had many critiques and I’ve had to to write one paper so far which is awesome. I’ve joined The Odyssey’s group at Marywood as well so that takes up some time too. I write an article for every Monday! You can go view my articles right here. I try to post some relevant content for my fellow classmates. That is also a location that you can keep up with what I am doing. Another place to check out is my official photography webpage, which is here. I update my photography on that website frequently as well.Â
Another interesting thing is the new Learning Commons that finally opened in September, a couple months ago. I love it! My only negative about it is that I don’t get a chance to use it that often. Most of my classes are in the art building so I don’t normally get a chance to go to the Learning Commons. I do love their food though! I get a salad with pepperoni and salami on top every time I go in there. Late night is now served at the Learning Commons as well which is really cool. There’s a lot more healthy choices with all of the changes.
In other news, I just registered for spring classes which is scary because I’m getting closer and closer to being in my senior year. It feels like just yesterday that I was a freshman! Speaking of freshman, one of my friends from my high school just started at Marywood as a freshman. She loves it so far, especially her major: Psychology.
It seems everything is going really fast! It’s hard to believe that it’s November 4th.Â
Anyways! I look forward to writing more this semester! Check out my other posts, I will be sharing my photography!
In college, one of the most difficult things for students to deal with is night class. Night classes may actually be worth the time, but that's for you decide! Here are seven fantastic reasons why night classes will be your best and worst nightmares.

Follow my boyfriend and many of my other friends as they are on the England and Ireland trip for MU 2015. Wish I had gone!
If you want to follow more of my photography, go online to pixoto.com/meaghanhudy and you should find some cool stuff.
I am so proud of my older brother, Daniel, for finishing his degree in Software Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology! Congrats, Dan! Congrats to him and his classmates, as well as the graduates of this spring at Marywood, as well! You’ve all worked so hard!
This is a photo I took on the corner of a street in Brooklyn! Another one of my favorite street photographs.
But wait! There’s more!
Just when you thought I couldn’t come up with anymore photos, I bring to you (my audience) the photos from my Color I Photography class with Niko Kallianiotis. All of these photos were taken in New York City, with the exception of one photo. I wanted to show you all these photos because I am so so proud of them. I worked hard on them and I would not have improved this much if it wasn’t for my Color I class. I really think it helped define what I can excel in. But in the mean time, I think I’ll stick to some other types of photography. Next on my list to do: learn how to do better portrait photography.
It has been an extremely long time since I have last posted here for the Marywood Street Team. I have been quite distant from Tumblr! I apologize for the lack of posts for the most recent months. With the rush of finishing finals and getting my stuff out of my apartment in the Woodlands, I could not find the time to sit down and get on Tumblr.
In latest news of my marywood life:
1. I am living in Regina Hall next year, instead of the Woodlands! I want to go back to the dorm life again (despite how wonderful and amazing the Woodlands are).Â
2. My roommate, Christy, is transferring to another school to pursue another dream. Sadly, I’ll be left to myself!
3. I finished the Spring semester with a 3.4, one point away from the Dean’s list.Â
4. I finished and matted my final project for the semester, which is the photos you see above. All of those photos are from my intermediate black and white class with Samuel Olfano.Â
5. I am pumped and excited to try out for soccer in the fall! (But also nervous)
So those are the most recent facts that I have to put out there to catch up my audience!Â
I hope you enjoy a quick peek at my photography from my black and white film class, I worked hard on all of it! Hope to post more, especially this fall, I promise!
Here is real live proof of me doing a push up, or attempting anyways! This was the snapchat my roommate made of me at the marywood gym a week ago. Go pacers!
Hi everyone! Here's the latest update: I'm loving all my classes, especially the art ones! I'm also applying to be a resident assistant, in hopes to maybe mentor some students and make more friends. I've also been editing a lot of photos lately. The two photos of my roommate are the photos I edited with photoshop. The photo of the learning commons sign is my first print of the semester, on fiber paper for my intermediate photography class. The snowman photo was actually a snowman built next to my apartment, and I thought it was the cutest thing! The photo of the sidewalk is to show how much snow we got. For some reason recently we have gotten a ton of snow! Must be something going on up in the lakes. Hope people got their wish on who won the Super Bowl! Congrats, Patriots! Stay warm! Meaghan
