I think the best thing to do is just constantly imagine yourself being 80, sitting in a rocking chair and looking back on your life. Think about all the opportunities you’re presented with every day and ask yourself ‘Would my 80 year old self be happy with this?’ Like, say your dad wakes you up at 8 in the morning and asks if you want to go out for breakfast. Right now, as a teenager, you’d probably just roll over in your bed and refuse, because you’re ‘too tired’ or ‘can’t be bothered.’ But as an 80 year old looking back, you would jump out of bed and go and have that breakfast without any second thought. It’s just the little things, you know.

Work from the inside:♢ Meditate (find guided meditations on self love on youtube for example) ♢ Be conscious of your thoughts. What are you spending your time thinking about? Are they negative thoughts or positive? When you catch yourself thinking negative, rather think of the solution and how you can deal with the problem, and after think of 10 positive things in your life right now.♢ GRATITUDE. I Can’t stress this enough. Gratitude will be your greatest superpower through life. Life IS RIGHT NOW! So you better start finding the light in every moment, or else you’ll wake up at your death bed realising that THAT was it, and you didn’t appreciate ALL the good things life has to offer. Work from the outside:♢ You absolutely DON’T need to surround yourself with negative people. Be conscious of who you spend time with.♢ Unfollow social media accounts what only focuses on the exterior or have an unhealthy relationship with food/their body. Follow diverse looking people with different interests and who care more about finding joy everyday than what they look like or what brand they’re wearing. ♢ Find some kind of activity you enjoy. Exercise is SO good for mind, soul and bodylovelove
Hey how to find the purpose of life?
I don’t think you need to know exactly what it is, as long as you do things everyday that seem meaningful to you. Finding joy in helping others is one of the most meaningful things, but you won’t be able to do that before you help yourself first. So I believe working on self growth and self love is the beginning of finding your purpose. When people tell you to “Work on yourself” it means stepping out of your comfort zone, opening your mind, being self aware, living in the moment and getting new perspective which leads to you being more connected to your true self. ♻ Read♻ Watch documentaries♻ Volunteer♻ Get a job♻ Travel♻ Try something new♻ Build/create something♻ Say yes♻ Spend time in nature♻ Talk to strangerslovelove
