Car Ride

Trying to fight art block by drawing something different. I still think the car came out wacky. It was worth a shot.

Alisha has three different cars; a modern sports car that technically isn't owned by her, this car referenced by a 1970 Cadillac Eldorado (vintage cars are cooler imho), and a shit box (her personal favorite car to drive). She enjoys driving around in random places to keep her mind off of things. Yes, she's always driving Grithis around because she can't drive lmao (me fr). Despite the strong rivalry from the start of their adventure with each other, Alisha would much rather have her rival by her side.

I shall have bragging rights to post. This was my first try using a gradient map (for the background) and I think it worked out pretty good. Honestly, this is my new favorite drawing. I rarely draw this OC despite Alisha existing as long as Grithis' creation. They're both rivals but eventually find a compromise since they're both victims of the same, broken system.

Procreate crashed, froze and there are 75 layers on this drawing that took nearly ten hours. Honestly, this is my proudest work yet! Here is Alisha, my original character for a story I'm working on. She is also part of the 'Tales of Magrenor' series, just way into the future. Some one on Discord wanted the pose as a reference and I was more than happy to lend them my old w.i.p. to help them. ^-^

Alisha Falison is a spy that works for a foreign government, spying on a currently collapsing dictatorship. Whenever she is not spying, she is at the casino. She's very good at gambling (and tends to cheat on occasion but no unsuspecting individual who is inexperienced would know). With that, she has been banned from most casinos around modern day Merian City. When she is not at the casino, she is in a rented apartment, either reading or watching whatever is on her computer (primarily journalists stuff). She also pirates those articles and videos for research purposes.

Can't get the full idea of how Sothis' new design works so have this for now until I finally finish this. I've doodled her already like two previous time but I don't like how they came out. I think I'm burnt rn lol. For those who have followed me before(like back in 2019), I used to draw her A LOT. I mean, like, one post was Midna and the next was typically Sothis (most of it is either deleted or archived though). I've even made a cosplay of her! It wasn't great but I had a passion for finishing it.

Now I want to cosplay this version and now I feel I have more experience to actually put in MORE effort.

I looked through all of H'aanit's sprite poses, and this one stood out to me. I thought it looked silly and thus, made the decision to draw her... in (an attempt of) the Ace Attorney series style. I tried my best, but this it was fun drawing something more simplistic. All I played for most of last year was Octopath and Ace Attorney so there's that I guess.
