Monster
She hadn't been here long; she and her friends took off after they had killed the janitor. She'd been there long enough to hear the rumors, however. She watched as he picked up the glasses off the ground. Part of her wondered how many pairs he must have broken due to people in town, and wondered why he didn't just prove them all right. If they wanted him to be a monster, why not become what they say? It seemed to be a normal pattern; eventually, people broke and did anyway.
Julie's eyebrow raised when he spoke. Now that he was facing her, she could see how much this affected him. She pulled her sleeve down, stepping forward and wiping some of the blood still on his face away. "Monster?" Her lips twitched, trying to hide the smile that threatened to expose itself. "Don't look like a monster to me." If he was a monster, then what was she? She enjoyed killing the janitor, did so without a second of hesitation, convinced Susie, and technically helped her stab the janitor, and even drew a smiley face on Frank's mask. If anyone was the monster, it was her.
"It's human nature to be aggressive toward people they think are different or wrong... It happens everywhere, I'd tell you not to let it get to you, but..." Clearly, he already had. Julie finally removed her sleeve from his face once she finished cleaning the blood off. "If they bother you so much, why don't you leave? Start fresh somewhere else." Like she had.
