"I think so?" the Dane answered, serious for only a few moments before pulling a grin. "But that probably means that I donāt know at the same," he laughed, watching the other out of curiosity.Ā
"Right. Nevermind then," he said, putting his soiled hooks in an empty box. "It's a risky business. I'm not letting you hook me up if you don't know how to do it."
"Good good! I was just checking. I think itās always nice to ask that of someone," Mathias shrugged, moving to sit down on a chair and prop his feet up. How strange everyone seemed to treat him here. He didnāt understand. It was as if no one was used to nice formalities anymore.Ā
Lukas just sat on the floor by Mathias's feet. "Hey. Do you like.. know how to put hooks in?" he asked, grabbing clean hooks.
"Maybe! It comes with itās drawbacks though," Mathias chuckled, moving to pop the joints in his shoulder before leaning against a wall. "How are you feeling?"
Lukas blinked. How was he feeling? "I feel fine," he said plainly, staring at Mathias like he was a crazy person. Who here was civil anymore?

"Oh, I haven't seen you in a long time." he said, adjusting the rigging in the practice tent.
"No fucking dip sherlock," he snapped, flicking his ear gently, almost fondly. "What do you want?"
Pouting, he began crying. āI wonāt dieā¦I donāt want toā¦ā he cried, curling his tail around himself. āDonāt say that I amā¦ā
Lukas rolled his eyes and lowered himself off of the ropes. āGoddamit. Shut up. Iām kidding.ā
Yao blinked and huffed. āI h-hate youā¦What if youāre right?ā he asked, muttering as he wipes at his eyes with his sleeves.
Lukas laughed. And laughed. There was no joy like fucking with Yao's head. It was just so funny.
Padding over to him, Lukas poked at him. āYou sure youāve got bones?ā he joked.
"Of course!" Mathias replied, pulling down the collar of his shirt a bit and running his fingers over his collarbone. "See? Iām not an invertebrate."
Oh god those were some nice collarbones. "Yeah, I see that," he muttered. "Wish I were that flexible sometimes, yeah?"

"Oh, I haven't seen you in a long time." he said, adjusting the rigging in the practice tent.
"No fucking dip sherlock," he snapped, flicking his ear gently, almost fondly. "What do you want?"

Lukas rolled his eyes and lowered himself off of the ropes. "Goddamit. Shut up. I'm kidding."
"Thanks!" Mathias yelled from across the tent, hanging from a support bar before wrapping himself around the pole and sliding down the mind boggling height to the ground, hitting the floor with barely a noise.
Padding over to him, Lukas poked at him. "You sure you've got bones?" he joked.
"Yeah," Mathias nodded, turning his form inside out before grabbing at the rope dangling besides him. Hurriedly undoing the knot that was his body, he climbed up the rope, grabbing at another once close enough to the ceiling and swinging, gaining momentum from both ropes to propel himself to the main pole, flipping easily to the support beams and grinning at the top of the tent.
That had Lukas awed a bit. Smirking to hide a full smile, he just said, "Impressive, Mathias."
"Oh, I haven't seen you in a long time." he said, adjusting the rigging in the practice tent.
"No fucking dip sherlock," he snapped, flicking his ear gently, almost fondly. "What do you want?"
He scrunched up his nose cutely, as he rubbed at his eyes. āLukas..Iām scared..ā he sniffled, wanting to cry. āI-I wanna live longer..ā
"Oh," he said, clicking his tongue. "Tsk. Tsk. TooĀ fucking bad then. We should hold a funeral for you this weekend."
"Okay!" Mathias chirped before moving to lay stomach first on the floor, curling his legs and stomach over his head before forming an almost perfect circle, with almost complete ease.Ā
With a nod, Lukas just watched before saying plainly, almost bored and unamused, "Anything else?"
"Oh, I haven't seen you in a long time." he said, adjusting the rigging in the practice tent.
"No fucking dip sherlock," he snapped, flicking his ear gently, almost fondly. "What do you want?"
Yao dropped down, scared. āB-But, I donāt want to dieā¦ā he mewled, tearing up. āI mean, there are humans that have lived to one hundred, right? Why couldnāt that work for me in a way?ā
"Because cats don't live as long, yeah? And you're a cat," he said, booping his nose.
"Iāve been talking to this guy called Andrei! Contortion or something is what weāre thinking," he shrugged.Ā
Lukas nodded. "Yeah. I-I've seen him around. Let me see what you've got then."
"Oh, I haven't seen you in a long time." he said, adjusting the rigging in the practice tent.
"No fucking dip sherlock," he snapped, flicking his ear gently, almost fondly. "What do you want?"
Squeaking, his eyes widened. āI donāt want to die!ā he mewled, obviously afraid. āThoughā¦I donāt know if I will..my body is fucking weirdā¦ā
"Cats only live for a short amoun of time. You're bound to die soon," he said with a snicker.Ā
