Tangled Up in Me → Elise & Mason
Elise: She didn't know what to think of the night so far, in all honesty. What had started out as a night of innocent fun had turned into a drunken mess, and somehow, she'd ended up here - in the last possible place she should have been. Mason's doorstep. It was some place she'd been before, but admittedly not in this condition - and not without being invited first. Had Elise been sober, there was no doubt in her mind that she wouldn't have standing on his doorstep. But she wasn't sober, God she was nowhere near, and she wanted to see him. The fact that she had to share him with whomever he might want to fuck that week was beginning to bother her, and while she'd somewhat accepted it under better conditions, in this one, the last thing she was willing to be was accepting. Knocking on his door, Elise called out, her voice far louder than it should've been considering the time of night, "Mase, open your door. I want to talk, and I know where your key is!"
Mason: He had been home only for a couple of hours, his plans for enjoying his night off completely gone to hell after one more long business meeting. In truth, all he wanted to do was lay on his couch with a glass of whiskey and relax, away from the civilization and anyone who could annoy him somehow. Truthfully, Mason was happy. The journal was going better each day and, even though he could barely breathe with so much work, seeing that every extra hour had paid off was all he could ever ask for. Well, almost. He figured that including the photographer on that matter would be terribly wrong. As he heard the knock on the door, Mason considered not going up and just ignore whoever it could be for the sake of his sanity, but he quickly changed his mind after hearing Elise's voice. Raising his eyebrows, the man stood up and settled his glass on the coffee table, making his way to the door only to find a drunk girl standing in front of her. "I'm here. What are you doing?" He murmured, confusion taking over his features as he moved closer, wrapping one arm around her waist to hold her up as he figured she'd fall eventually if she was to continued stumbling as she did until now. "Come on." Without waiting for her to answer, Mason moved his free arm under her tights and pulled her up in his arms, walking back inside with Elise as he waited patiently for his explanation.
