Some time later, Tim shows up with a guitar. Her hair is haphazardly tied back, small strands framing the charred flesh around her eyes. Sitting herself right next to Jonny, she takes a look at what he’s working on.
Jonny looks up at the sound of the door open, his eyes follow Tim as she crosses the room to sit next to him. It’s impossible to deny seeing Tim with her hair up is anything short of a treat even with the clear lack of effort put into it currently.
Jonny slides the paper over a little to give her a better view, the page mostly consists of scribbles and words with little reasoning to their layout. It’s a far too early draft for it to look pretty or make sense to anyone other than Jonny. If he’ll ever finish it or it’ll get lost in piles of concepts for decades is anyone’s guess.
Tim analyzes the paper and quietly hums some of the notes on the page that she can make out.
She puts the guitar strap over her head and begins fiddling with the tuning pegs and strings. She pauses and looks at Jonny.
Okay if I’m here?
Ain’t got nothin’ ‘gainst good company.
Tim gives him a small smile and continues fiddling with the pegs and strings until she’s satisfied with how they sound
Haven’t played this thing in weeks
Jonny huffs an amused sound.
Surprised it weren’t more outta tune then.
That makes two of us
Tim fiddles around in the guitar for a bit longer, before leaning a bit into Jonny’s space to take a look at the music
