BEHOLD, the comic that took me MANY weeks to finish 😅 it was supposed to be shorter, and I actually finished it before I decided I could do a better job and redid the entire thing. @redux-iterum I was so taken by chapter 20 that I had to draw it, so here it is!

Got al-an drawing ideas, couldn’t figure out how his legs worked, remembered he is a game character with a findable model and I know how to use blender.
I intended to just have a look at how he works and make some quick reference, instead I came out of a daze 3 hours later with these on my screen
I still want to do the drawings I had planned I just have no idea when I’ll get to them, so for now, here, have these. Maybe I’ll even fix them up and render them at some point
i think you really nailed just how isolated firestar is right now. his clanmates are right there, but he can't focus on them for long enough to really register that. it hit me just how little we actually see of thunderclan these past few chapters, despite the fact that we're in thunderclan camp most of the time. sure they get named, sometimes firestar even takes note of what they're doing, but it's never for long. his friends are nothing more than wavering images that leave as quick as they show up. even when he's interacting with them he's mostly in his head, and he's very distressed the few times he's not stuck in his own thoughts.
OOH does this ask delight me. I am so glad to hear this, because Firestar's mental state in the second half of this fuckin' book was the biggest challenge to get right. It was the source of much rewriting, we'll put it that way. Thank god it panned out!

is this safe?
the files are all directly downloaded from this site, so there's no third party to worry about. i didn't make this site - it was created by @blorblegoop , who recently contacted me with this post on their blog addressing security concerns. they scan all the files themself before hosting. i scanned my own pc after downloading as well, and it all came up clean! but it’s good to be aware of pc safety, especially when pirating. it can’t hurt to do your own scan to be sure!
how much pc knowledge do i need for this?
you should know how to download files, how to make and manage folders in file explorer, and how to navigate a program's settings menu.
any settings i should change in ryujinx?
here's some i recommend checking before starting the game:
for tomodachi life specifically, make sure you set a timezone in settings! you can have it match your pc's time for simplicity.
there are ostensibly keyboard controls, but they're a little wonky to figure out. if you can, plugging in any controller should work just fine. just make sure to select it in ryujinx's input settings! (you should also still be able to use your mouse for things like drawing facepaint!)
graphics settings will be on a per-pc basis, depending on your pc's strength. it's worth it to experiment with them and see what gives you the best performance. ryujinx will explain what each setting does if you hover over it!
the game crashed?
that's very likely to happen! on first time loading a scene, the emulator can sometimes struggle. it happened to me the first time i opened the mii editor, and the first time i opened the news station. you should be able to relaunch and everything will be fine. if it's happening super frequently, though, you may need to adjust your graphics or cpu settings!

my idea for where EX goes when he isn't in hermitcraft for the dbhc au is just a black void where the videos are projected out and nothing else
The server is a box of code so its bigger on the 'inside' the projector is how the videos and website are broadcasted out into the larger minecraft universe
the void is very dark even if everything wasnt the same color so EX cant see the box of server code except for the projector but can feel and interact with the box
the reason EX doesnt go further into the void and why he's there in the first place is because his code doesn't exist outside of HC so he can't be transferred out, if he gets too far away from the code he starts to break down and be deleted
players dont interact with the void because when they leave servers their code is transferred directly
