The old Pääsküla bridge.
Estonia is the land of forests, so only here ships can move through the sea of trees))
Great quiet place on the outskirts of Tallinn. The building with the clock is the Marine Academy.
Happy(I hope) family of swans)
Estonian red Moon. It was a fascinating view)
Just a bit of estonian nature, including the horde of tiny frogs))
Anyway, Turba is still a lovely place)
Also there used to be the railroad till Haapsalu. After the disappearing of the Soviet Union, the rails from Riisipere to Haapsalu (Turba is between them) were sold for metal. But, fortunately, they are going to return the road, and, possibly, they will return trains to Turba till the end of the year) The old station and platform are still there)
Also there was a huge factory. Nowadays there is something too, but not of such scale, as it used to be.
In the past, Turba was a place of great importance, it had even it's own electric plant. Now there is a museum.
The town of Turba. Not very huge, but very cozy anyway)
Another castle-Laitse castle, and it's surroundings. The monument of the Guardian of the castle and the White chapel)
Observatory. At first, the tower was built by von Glehn and was supposed to be so big, as it would be possible to see Finland from top. But he didn't manage to make it so high, and later the observatory settled in the tower)
Monument in memory of favourite von Glehn's horse
Glehn was very creative person and took part in construction of everything, from castle, to very impressive sculptures:Kalevipoeg and Crocodile)
Glehn's palm house, where the exotic plants were grown. Before, there was glass in the ceilings.
The castle of baron von Glehn, founder of Nõmme(now the district of Tallinn)
