When I was asked to do a variant cover for THE FORGOTTEN DIVINE, by Mark Russell and Russ Braun, I was immediately drawn to the surreal alien imagery and wanted to present a cover as strange and unsettling as the story inside.

The comic follows a homeless veteran whose dreams of an alien world lead him to others plagued by the same visions. What starts out as a support group evolves into something else, as more people become gripped by the conspiracy and paranoia of their unwaking life.

I genuinely think it’s one of the best things Mark Russell has ever written.
