I’m not one to write long paragraphs of anything because lazy. But playing Matt and Jackson here was one of the best RP experiences I’ve ever had in my many years of being on Tumblr.

“Oh, that sounds cool. It’s probably safer up there as well. I get out, just not as often as other people do. I like my job though. I mean, I liked working at the Grill too but this...I have a real purpose now. I’m not just some kid who’s lost out in the world.”

“Probably. Nah, he’s really good to me, actually. He just has to not play favorites. You know, I haven’t exactly seen you around either.”

You only say that because you just haven’t met the right girl yet, Matty. But even I can see that you’re not just average. Don’t talk down on yourself like that.

It’s more just not talking myself up. I know now I’m not average, but I don’t need to gloat about being handsome. I’m just Matt. I’ll always be just Matt. And I’m okay with that. As for not meeting the right girl, they either leave town, or die. Maybe it’s me.

You know you don’t have to get me anything for Christmas. Nothing bad happening to us is pretty much our gift to each other. It might not last but the less awful things to happen before next Christmas, the better.
