She smirks amused as he waggles his eyebrow but shrugs. “It would, not to mention interesting to investigate but with our work we’d never get shit done.” Her eyes shifted away from the elaborate details along the wall. It was all new to her, soon enough her interest would wane though. She was used to her home, small towns, this place seemed a little too big for a small fae. “I guess you could say I wandered in off the street, or new recruit however it’s called. How about you?”
“Well, I was the new blood, then you walked in.” He waggles his brow at her again. He can’t say that he minds being the new kid on the street, it didn’t feel like he really was. There was an annoyance that he hadn’t been sent out yet, that he felt like he needed to prove himself to everyone in this house and iff he cared more about it, then he would have made a better effort to do so. “Max,” he gives her with a nod.Â
