The burden of being her little brotherโs main caretaker was a lot to handle, especially for someone so little. You being there took a lot of the pressure off of her, because even if things got hard, at least you could share the weight of it together.
Heโd often ignore its own needs to prioritize Apollo and Artemisโs, so youโd have to make sure she ate and took care of himself too!
Sheโd come to you in tears when Cassandra was ignoring her, so you had to hold her and make sure it knew he was loved. Your own relationship with Cassandra was complicated, she was your mom, but you saw the abuse she let happen and resented her for it.
Sometimes Atlas expressed how sheโd like to be able to do more girly things, like have tea parties and dress up. While you did your best to tell her that it was okay, you couldnโt stop the impact of your parentโs negative influence. The most you could do was set up fake tea parties and let him watch cartoons like MLP and PPG.

Loved telling you all about the different fish and sharks he was learning about, knowing someone cared and would listen to him meant a lot, and was positive developmentally!
Youโd often have to stop little sibling spats between Apollo and Artemis, but they were never anything too outrageous. The worst theyโd argue over was who took something first.
Apollo liked to be read bedtime stories by you, he found heโd have less nightmares when that happened.
You once gifted him a big shark plushie and he had the widest little grin! Itโs in your personal family photos.
Once you started getting your own money, you went out to the aquarium yourself and chose a few different items. Apollo still has the keychain you got for him.

Artemis liked to play all types of little tricks and pranks on you, though they werenโt usually very successful. To cheer him up, youโd just pretend!
Always begged you to play sports with him, you saved up and got him both a football and a soccer ball for his 10th birthday!
Heโd try to be sneaky and crawl into your bed at night when heโd get scared from the fighting or a bad dream.
Youโre the reason he had so many different cool pairs of gloves! Some you made yourself. Artemis also still has these.
He acted out as a cry for help the most out of the three, but when you were around, heโd become far more calm and happy!

You were the only person he trusted to know about AD. He cried when he told you, despite all the kindness and acceptance youโd shown him, deep down he was still terrified youโd reject him like the rest of your family seemingly would.
When Marvin first split you made sure to do plenty of research, though your resources were limited, you still wanted to try to have a better understanding of your baby brothers condition!
He used to hold play concerts and sing into a toy microphone, you got to be the security or another member of his band!
The two of you would have long talks about your parents when they werenโt listening. It pained you to know you couldnโt take their hurt away.
Because Marvin was allowed out of the house, when you started driving you took him out as often as possible to avoid any further conflict with your step-father.

You have to get used to being picked up like a critter.

Imagine giving your touch-starved F/O an unexpected hug, especially before you guys start dating. Imagine the way they'd stiffen at first, unused to the affection. Then, slowly, you'd feel them melt against you. Their arms moving to return the embrace, face pressed into your neck. Almost like they are trying to get as close as possible to you.
Your f/o would support you through your bad fatigue days. They'd make you your favorite foods and bring you anything you need to drink, medicine, anything at all. They'd hold you and comfort you if you're sad, give you a massage if you'd like, do all they can to care for you. Most of all, they'd never call you useless or get mad you can't do anything. They'd give you all the time and space (or lack or space) you need until you feel better.
