Me too! I feel kind of empty--if that makes sense--if Pippa, that's my horse's name, isn't with me. I'm so glad someone understands. I never told anyone that.

Then all is well and you can be a happy little delinquent without looking like one. Maybe I am using ‘crazy’ too much, out of the context. I am not crazy, just…overwhelming sometimes. I’m not very good at sharing, you see, monsieur. I am just having a few flaws and I should be leaving it at that. Well, I am hoping to not be such a force! No one likes broken glass, mon cheri..

Ah, I know how it feels to be overwhelming. And I don't even notice it until someone--my dad--points it out. Well, everyone has flaws, there's no denying that. It's just finding a way to own those flaws.

Lock? I've never heard of that name before. That's really different.

It didn’t sound weird at all, Maximus! Really? That’s so cool! My dad is an accountant. There’s nothing wrong with being dorky or childish sometimes. If you love doing something and it’s not causing harm, then it doesn’t matter how it makes you look. You just have to embrace the things that make you who you are. If it makes you feel better, I still sleep with a stuffed animal every night and when I’m sick, I like to watch the movies I watched when I was little.

You always have this power to make me feel better about myself in an instant. I don't sleep with a stuffed animal but I always have to have my stuffed white horse with me in my room. I can never let go of it.

Sometimes the hard things in life are the ones that we need to do the most. I would feel flattered. Most girls would, I think. You could always throw in that you’ve enjoyed the time you’ve spent talking to her so far and want to get to know her better. And of course, use her name and not mine cause that’d be silly otherwise. But you can always go without a date and steal dances with everyone.
